Exactly, I was wondering why the pc, the best hardware wise, is not bashed for requiring HD game disks. Hell, games like bioshock and gears had no prob with the space so i dont know. I could be lack of compression (dont really need it with all that space) or whatever.
I've seen these games your talking about rated low on some sites. But w/e, most fanboys shrug it off as hard reviewers so you'll have to wait until you can actually play it yourself to see if these guys are right.
P.S. Being a Canadian i can say that there are a hell of alot more indian people here then asians :P
Yeah but look at computer gaming, how many years will it last till you need to upgrade? I would like the time to be less before they make another console but dont kill the old version for a while. Most games keep lower end computer in mind so for example, when developers release a game for the 360, they make it so the new one can run the game at higher quality (as most pc games have settings you can adjust for your computer speed).

Every single time i see someone say the ps3 version of a game is worse, i either hear that it is just lazy developers or the game isnt that good anyways. What the hell guys, if you keep it up i wouldnt be surprised if they just dont bother to go through all the trouble to make a decent game for the ps3. It would be a relief to me as a game developer not to hear bashing of how lazy or crap our game is if one version is inferior.

I'm happy with it. We need some heavy hitters to look forward to in 08. With such a packed fall line-up, I won't be surprised to see games being delayed to 08 (see Splinter Cell: Conviction, and now GTA IV). I can get the games i want without worrying about beating all the AAA games this gen in one season(and breaking the bank :P).
It is good cause it will help Microsoft have a sku around the price of a wii. Also, if i wanted to do system link, i would just go out and buy a core.

The article used a 20GB instead of entry level 360 like they did with the ps3. So it makes the ps3 look cheaper.

But back on topic, I agree with what you said. 2 reasons they put are because its free. If they don't charge for online, wouldn't they have to get that money from elsewhere. It makes sense that it would be kept to have something as cheap as the wii. Also most people wont have a problem getting memory cards (see PS2). It seems Microsoft is starting to work on appealing to the casual gamers. First price, now they need some more casual games (Rare will be a great help with that).
I guess fanboys didn't worry about the message sony was giving by doing a temporary price drop within 8 months of it coming out.

I think both formats will be around, like coke and pepsi. There always has to be competition or else the winning format will slack off. Do you think that if PS3 and Wii already flopped, Microsoft would try as hard to make their system so good? It will be better for Microsoft when they fix the problems cause a 3 year warranty is a long time and will give the idea of a well made product (name some cheap products that have a warranty for this long)

Well its a good thing that you can use the headset as a microphone and the guitar from GH2 so you don't have to worry about the $20 diff from the ps3 version. So at least the microphone won't be necessary but why is there a price difference with the guitar?
I don't see mention of a ps3 version but this looks like a budget game that i won't be getting anyways.
At 20.2: I'm pretty sure graphics are not the focus in the halo series like it seems to be in GT. GTA was a great game at the time not cause of its graphics but because of its gameplay. Graphics will only last so long before it gets out done and becomes inferior (look at ps1 games after all these years). If the gameplay isnt new or innovative, it doesnt matter how pretty it looks. If Bomberman: Act Zero looked as good as Gears, would it be a better game?
