True enough, and the MS bs/hype/lies is definately true and I definately don't like Kinect (right now) but still remember them saying there would be games that use both the controllers and kinect. I remember it from E3 its not like they're going back on their word about that specifically.
But you are right, their current games that are out and even announced are all games I could see the ps eye doing right from the start. Their launch lineup is complete garbage.

Min chill dude MS didn't rip it off even if it was used as inspiration they definately did expand upon it and make it a pretty solid system for perfectionists.. for every game not just 1, and all integrated into 1 system.
I don't see how you can't appreciate SOME of the things MS has brought to gaming... Trophies were made because they saw the potential in the achievement system and how it tailored to some types of gamers, and add replay value to their own games....

This is why I like the party chat on xbox.. on xbox I just talk to the people I want to talk to
But there are ways to do this on PSN like you said, I mute everyone and also have my game settings to "friends only" for voice communication which also works.
Some developers these days dont consider this though, and make it very complicated just to mute 1 person =(

I'd like to see ps home become a bit more integrated into the playstation network rather than a standalone "game" or "application" like the trophy support they announced way back when, for in game trophies being represented..
home even has private chats I've used it before just to have some convos with some friends of mine who just got their ps3's.

Honestly, if you're a gamer you'd be open to new ideas for games. If they can somehow make some core games that appeal to you, or me, I don't see "jumping around like an idiot" a reason to not try it...

It didn't get anywhere why would they want to try again? It was great at first then dies down.. That's what the Move is for I don't see why they would go back to PSEye on its own just to make a point.

It's been labeled the most requested feature for years now, and Sony has received enough pressure from people to make statements regarding whether or not they were trying, or not trying to add it so I'd say its pretty popular
and besides the point here, because neither of us actually know.. how is cross game chat useless? I can see it being useless if you don't have any friends on your console but I'm pretty sure we all do
