For those of you (and evidently most of you) who don't even bother to read the article.. this is an excellent post, truly inspirational and really wish all developers were like this.

I wonder if your account will carry from one platform to the other... would be cool to play on a PC for the 64 players but switch to PS3 to play with some buddies, although being different styles and number of players per server, I can see why they would prevent this from happening.
I think your close but they are free to not enjoy it, that IS their own taste in games.. what I think you're referring to is RESPECT for dead space 2, which is much deserved.
Same could be said for GT5 and those other excellent games that have been shit on, whether you like it or not, you have to respect the amount of passion and effort put into games like these.

the similarities to counterstrike just make it so tempting, thank god there are still developers out there who support the use of hitpoints and in-game commerce. (and no killstreaks)
to hear kiddies complaining that there are no re spawns, or about the idea behind hp or money rewards each round, just makes me want to play it even more knowing they won't be in any of my games lol

Pretty good comparisons.. I didn't read too much before I went "wait a sec, half those xbox games I can play on my PC" but that was covered further down as well.
I think this quote from the article sums it up fairly well:

I have the option of using the shifter, paddles OR the clutch... does this one have a clutch? if it does I'd get it but honestly I can't see not having a clutch now that I've experienced it WITH a clutch lol
just wish it worked with my xbox as well I don't really get MS but oh well
as much as I enjoy some of the xbox exclusives, there's no denying its a crappy and unreliable console lol this shouldn't be something worth arguing over so why not just let it go
I thought the coop story was great for MP but the actual versus modes were bad ya
