I actually have the exact opposite problem as you. My PS3 goes from terrible to pretty good, while my Xbox consistently streams HD perfectly.
If you had actually read this article, it wasnt Kinect that failed, it was the person that was supposed to be monitoring the event. He wasnt paying attention and the camera was pointing at the floor.
Another poster said the New York event was great. Maybe read/watch articles instead of headlines.
To me, the value isnt there. Shacknews best described it as "a grab bag of things you may or may not have" and "a rental of most content."
There's a lot more they went over that made a lot of sense that I wont go into detail, but if you're interested in hearing it just download the new Weekend Confirmed podcast over at Shacknews.
So youve played them I take it?
All the games last year were quality games, well worth the price. The games this year look even better. If I didnt have a 360, Id buy one just for Limbo. Every single one of these games look promising.
I honestly think MS used this game to pad their exclusives list and keep the core gamers happy. I really like Crackdown, and I would be severely disappointed if I hadn't already played some really great titles this year so far.
Summer is a gamer's hell, and this is the equivalent to a broke down air conditioner.
So what about the group of us who enjoy all games, including COD and Madden? I've played Demon Souls but I also pick up 2k and Fifa every year. You believe that these companies are striving to make playable art for us? Yes and no, because the gaming industry is a business.
You make core gamers out to be elitist snobs. Can't we just play games and not make the distinction between gaming "classes"? This isn't the caste system.
Seriously. I thought I was going to get "PC Graphics" without the problem of upgrading my video card. My Xbox/PS3 looks miles ahead of Onlive. The lag is bad also. I have a 52mbps download/15mbps upload speed and I still get twitchy lag and buggy games.
I really want this game to be good, but many podcasts that I've listened to said that they were very unimpressed by this at E3. An actual quote is" It plays like a poor man's Dantes Inferno."
Thats a diss if Ive ever heard one. But, I'll reserve judgment until I play it for myself.
No, its because they released a piece of unfinished crap upon us. The online is unplayable, the submission system impossible, and the moves are virtually identical as last years.
Hopefully they learn from their mistakes. After EA MMA comes out, theyll have a little competition.
Ive never seen a shortage in stock. I picked up a Slim with ease 2 months ago, and there were 6 more on the shelf. Same with other stores I went to. Even now, there are plenty of PS3's in stock.
Read much? These are the numbers for MAY, not JUNE. Additionally, you wouldnt see the new Xbox really take effect until July's NPD because the new 360 started shipping mid to late June.
Thats not even Rock Band the game. That's an electric drum kit. There's no TV, and she's not looking at anything in front of her. This isnt video game related.
These actually all look like solid titles, Im really excited. For a summer filled with barely any releases, this will definitely hold me over. I just hope they offer the same deal as last year: Buy all of them, get 800 MS points.
6 player coop in Castlevania too? Im all in baby.
I have a 54mmbps download and 16 up and I still have input lag. Its not huge, but its noticeable on a game like Red Faction.
Take a look around, it looks like youre the only one.
The lag is horrible, the prices on games too expensive, and there's not enough game selection. OnLive wouldve been great, but its a dud. They claim you dont need a hardcore video card, they do the work for you. But the crap thats sent back to you looks like major downsampling.
I agree with you there. Mine took a crap on me too after only 2 years. Both companies are leaving gamers behind. They're call chasing the casual crowd now.
Man, its insane to watch every N4G Sony Fanboy jump on this. It's like smelling blood in the water.
I agree. If the content was more appealing, I'd sign up right away. It all feels too regulated and restricted. I already have over 30 PSN games, so where is the appeal to the gamer like I who has these games already. The ability to download content while you're not at the system is not appealing enough to buy it right away, I can do that with my Xbox already.
If they gave the user the choice to pick and choose, they could have my $50.
I hope you're joking. Because if not, that wins stupid comment of the day.
