God forbid we don't get another sequel! I think Assassin's Creed was a great game but what always excites me the most is a new IP. Unless of course it's a Metal Gear Solid, Grand Theft Auto, God Of War, Final fantasy, Resident Evil, Gran Turismo, Devil May Cry, Prince Of Persia or Jak game. But that's it! Unless Team Ico wants to do a sequel to SOTC of course. Or a new Guitar Hero or Rock Band. No more Sequels!
Nice to see someone else speaking(or writing) with reason. Obviously PS3 owners (like myself) would want to play Halo 3 Fable 2 Gears of War etc on their fave console. Isaac you mean to tell me if Microsoft threw in the towel and all the above games and many others came to PS3 you wouldn't care or play them? C'mon man stop being a fanboy.
It is the best portable in the world. Doesn't guarantee a long life though.
PS3 and XBOX 360 are both next-gen consoles that offer a variety of great videogames. Last generation you went with ps2 if you were an RPG fan and xbox if you liked FPS games. This generation Sony is reaching out to FPS fans (Resistance and Killzone 2) while MS is trying to attract RPG fans (infinite undiscovery and the upcoming star ocean etc) This generation I think the decision is even harder for gamers. I just purchased my new PS3 and hope to get a 360 in the future.

I do not agree. If you bought a PS3 OR an XBOX 360 you are more of a "hardcore" than "casual" gamer. So you have to compare both PS3 and 360 sales combined against wii sales for an adequate reflection of hardcore vs. casual. Like most people I believe wii is a fad and will soon be eclipsed. Whether you are a PS3 owner or a 360 owner get out ther and BUY GAMES! Show the industry we want more GTA, MGS4, HALO, FINAL FANTASY etc and less "cooking mama"

For Your Eyes Only is my favorite Bond movie as well! I have never had anyone agree with me! The only other film that comes close is of course Goldfinger.

Aliens is going to be like Rainbow six but with aliens not terrorists and Mirror's edge is a complex visually stunning adventure game. Can you tell which game I think is going to be better? Hint: I think Rainbow Six is overrated.
If Sony unveils God of War III and the new project from team ICO they can win E3 hands down. An announcement of a PS3 remake of Final Fantasy 7 would bring down not only the house, but the competition as well.
I thought SCII "guest characters" were better. I don't see the point of mixing Star Wars and Soul Calibur. I am going to stick with SC 2 and 3 as well. I don't see how they would top the second one anyway..
I think the PS3 is more interesting for older gamers because it dosen't just play videogames. The most important of it's other functions is obviously the Blu Ray DVD. I recently sold my entire DVD collection and want to start a Blu ray collection. One more point. PS3 is the most powerful system. Last generation older gamers bought xbox over ps2 because it was a more powerful system. This generation everything's changed.
