We knew it was coming to PC, just not when. It was assumed to be a timed exclusive.

Is this a motion blur / lens flare simulator?
All media has been in regurgitation mode for the past 15 years.
Chin down eyes up, that's box art 101 to get the dudebro sales.
I could tell you how to drive a car and you would know what to expect but until you actually try it you're just going off of someone else's perceptions. Unfortunate that's all we have at the moment. Let's hold off extreme judgment until we actually see the game running and have a clearer picture of the situation.
Am I the only person scared shitless of a Streamed future. Video compression, lag, input delay, internet speed and so on. Yeah it's convenient for low end hardware to be able to play anything but the trade off isn't worth it. But we live in a society were convenience and accessibility is king and quality has taken a back seat.
Streaming has it's place I just hope it doesn't become the standard until it can provide better quality than localized hardware. It ba...
"this game is meant for childrens that cant AIM!!. a shooter game without the option to actually AIM is the stupidest thing human kind is ever invented!!."
Ignorance at its finest.
The only people that care about ADS is the casual cod crowd. They are so use to aim assists and ADS that they fear having to play without it.
It's not like Microsoft isn't paying for that exclusivity. CD took the easy money and can focus their resources on one platform which also saves money. Then once the game releases they can easily port the game with minimal resources to other platforms. Why risk low sales when some one is offering guaranteed money? I'm not saying this is a good business practice but it is understandable.
I remember the first gpu I bought, it was a Radeon 9800 pro. Threw that thing in my crappy dell and was blown away. My 7950 is holding up well, no urgency to upgrade yet.
NO DICE = NO DICE when it comes to BF.
So you agree that this is only a problem for people who choose to not learn about their consoles features. I don't make excuses for these people.
PS4 uses less than 4 watts in standby mode if you disable USB charging.
@uth11 yes
"Who would search for power saving features when they are happy with what it does out of the box?"
Someone who wants to know what their product is capable of. But I guess ignorance is bliss.
@Chris
So when you buy something you don't do any research and just think it will do what you want automatically.
XBONE standby = 12watts
PS4 rest mode = 10watts
Their whole argument is that it's the default option and that people are to stupid/ignorant to know any better. I put the blame on ignorant consumers not the manufacturer. Stay classy polygon.
Silver is cool but that batman logo is hideous.
"Exclusives tend to be better than multiplats, and that's good for consumers. Most of the games that come out on a console in a given year and thoughout its life(unless we're talking Nintendo, these days) are multiplat, and the vast majority of them are average, at best."
That is opinion.
"But because exclusives are partially made to make you want a specific console, their quality is generally higher. Dunno how that could be bad for con...
Exclusives are good for platform holders not consumers
Easier way for steam users type "-nologo" in the launch options.
