Unless they can add GTA-like AI, the game will never be worth anything. Roaming around a dead city is kinda boring.
Even if it was the same as the previous version with different graphics it should still get more than 7/10. Clickbait score imo. From what I've seen it seems like its a great game with improvements from the previous games.
It can never be standard if it's proprietary and only works on RTX cards. It excludes over 80% of gamers.

Why do the atmospheric effects like fog and smoke look better on PS3. A cleaer looking PS5 version does not as good.
It was free on Epic game store recently and has been free on PSplus, etc so no wonder they reached a large number of players. I played it for about an hour on pc with all the RT bells & whistles but it got a bit repetitive so haven't played it since.
The real life actress for Aloy (Hannah hoekstra) still looks like the original Aloy so why did they devs make her look worse in the new game? Looks like she has been over-eating since the last game.
I doubt the devs are gonna pay reviewers. The game is probably one that some will love and some will not.
The reviewer seems to be upset that there are no zombies like the old RE games. A poor 'review' which marks the game down for deviating from the zombie formula.
Why does this game look like something from 10 years ago? This would look outdated on a PS3.
The game has no AI to speak of. Even 10 year old games have better AI and features. To try to blame journalists is absolutely pathetic. It was their own incompetence that made the game what it is.
I hope they improve the graphics. Even AOE3 looks better than this at the moment.

I couldn't be bothered playing after half an hour. The non-existent AI is the biggest issue and it feels like a huge step back when compared to the GTA series. It just does not feel like a living world when all the NPC's have less AI than a zombie.
This shouldn't happen if Microsoft/AMD finally release their DLSS competitor. For Xbox (and perhaps Sony) they will use the ML upscaling to boost performance without sacrificing resolution/iamge quality.
You cannot expect a $500 console to match a pc with a $1000 gpu. What you get is still better than 60% of 'gaming' pc's since most pc gamers don't buy the top end gpu's.
If the enhancement is the much awaited DLSS equivalent then that will be fantastic news. All games will finally be able to run at 4K (using ML upscaling from 1440P or 1080P).
Apart from Lara that list is a bit crap. Pretty sure Chun-li and Samus Aran should be in the top 5.
