Downsampling gives you the cleanest picture I've ever seen. I know I won't be able to play the newest games at 4K with my card, but I was able to rum Dark Souls 2 on 5K (back to 1440p) with GeDoSaTo and I immediately fell in love with the image quality. Finally AMD added this feature to their drivers!
I bought Titanfall at Origin Mexico for 25€ at launch. As they didn't fix it yet it seems they don't care about this loop hole ...
I agree, great interview and just 60° + 3 comments. Let's hope people will buy this game if it turns out good!
Well if they manage a steady 60 fps there is no need for that option.
No thats just a teaser. The game will look/play different
@Menkyo: Well I can't find that exact line you read. I don't have any facts to prove it, but believe me, this is a timed exclusive. It's just too obvious ...
Never mind, we'll see what happens holiday 2015 (or few months after) and who will be proved right.
@egidem: I agree it seems like an overkill, but considering it's the new "flagship" Nvidia might aim for 4k. Once devs start taking advantage of the power and use "high def" textures, it might (notice I say might, as it's pure guessing on my part) be needed.
WTF? I really liked Daniel Kayser :(
Holy sh*t that's a nice rig you got :D (if true of course ;) )
1 x 780ti should be enough to play that game, 2 of them a no-brainer (4k probably not included). What the hell did they do? Is it really this bad?
Yea I'm pretty disappointed of the graphics (playing on PC @ Ultra) compared to BF4, but if I remember correctly the BF4 beta was also looking worse than the final game. Or is it just my imagination?
Only PC/Ps4 as of now, sorry
Yeah because of Dead Rising ...
let's be honest, you never had any interest
Actually it's pretty easy to connect your Xbox 360 or Ps3 controller wirelessly to your PC. For the 360 gamepad use the Bluetooth dongle, and for the Ps3 one just the software "MotionJoy" (if your PC has Bluetooth). Should be even possible to use your Xbox One Controller as the drivers have been officially released today by Microsoft.
--> Problem solved
Edit: don't know if MotionJoy works with the Ps4 controller too, but there are always solution...
Just a some advices:
8gb of RAM are usually more than enough, if it should be needed in a few years you could still upgrade.
If you want to safe a few dollars and don't want to overclock your system go with a Xeon 1230v3 (or the soon to be released refresh). It's only missing the iGPU (which will never be used as you have a dedicated GPU) and if you're gaming on (/one of) the highest setting you won't run in a CPU bottleneck as your GPU will be the limit.
Completely agree @FragM
The fps bump from windows 7 to windows 8 is def noticeable. People like to hate on windows 8 but I think (especially after the 8.1 update) they made a great OS (of course beside the metro UI, but you don't have to use it ...).
Don't mean to be sniffy, but there are really cheap 1440p "gaming" monitors available if you consider importing them from South Korea. Got my 27" with almost none input lag for 215€ (although this model is sold at about 230-250€). UHD displays on the other hand, I have no idea. But I would say go with 1440p first as UHD is still too demanding even for good graphic cards. You would have to go with real enthusiast cards to get 30 fps @ ultra @ 4k.
On topic: I...
To be honest, the games are either old or not that good :(. I'm planing to buy a 290X but I guess I'll go with a Battlefield 4 bundle, I played pretty much everything else (beside Thief). Too bad they didn't include Dark Souls 2. That would have been a killer game :)
The only thing I hate is the design. But you have to love UEFI support, it's just so fast :)
Agree with you. I put around 40 hours in the game. It's starting to become a little bit stale (I don't know a better word right now), maybe the DLC will bring new life into it. But I still enjoy it. Haters would love to see it fail, while others who play(ed) it most likely enjoy(ed) the game
@sourav93: I'd say it's just trolling, at least sounds like that. If not, I'm sorry for you, you made quite a mistake on your purchase.
