I agree that 100 $ is a ripoff, but I don't think that Sony would have stayed at 49. Especially at the current developement costs (which were even higher at the beginning of the next generation) it would be quite hard to make profit of games, when there is only a small user instal base. Last gen developement was about 4-8 mill. and this time games need more than 4 times as much money.
Also look at the price of Sony exclusives. R&C Crack in time's recommended retail price in Germany ...

Sorry to disappoint you guys, but after ordering (only possible from 11pm to 6am German time due to the law -.-) you'll have to write in your personal ID to get the code (they have to make sure you're really 18). So in order to get it, you should have a ID generator at 11pm, or you won't get it. The giveaway will most likely start today, so be ready in about 8 and half hours.
I think it looks a little bit better. Also it looks soooo fluid. Can't remember how it was with CoD4 but could it be that CoD6 runs @ 60 fps? If so this is my first game where I can really tell a difference

Aldi started it with a bundle (second dualshock and wipeout HD fury) for 299€. Media Markt followed with the 240€ deal (console only, no games included). At the end (as always) Amazon lowered the price to counter Media Markt (also 240€) but gave you Borderlands free on top!! Unfortunately the Borderland bundle isn't available anymore.

It doesnt matter if you reinvent something, it's all about games. Xbox (1) reinvented the online part for consoles (yeah I know there where consoles before the Xbox with online support), but still failed. First 360 had games you wouldn't want to miss as a gamer, and the Ps3 had always the news of bad ports --> Ps3 doomed. Sony lowered the price, more gamers found out that Ps3 had good games, and Sony pumped out some must haves on top (especially Uncharted 2, if you don't have it...
I think it depends what Sony and MS do, and what impact Natal and Wand (I think that was the name) have. If both companies can lower the price even more and the motion controllers seem appealing to the casual player, Nintendos sales will slowly go down (just my opinion), and they will be forced to release a remade Wii (something like a slim if its possible), or launch the next console

I've been so long waiting for a sequel because I LOVED the first one. It's the best RARE game this gen followed by Viva Pinata, and now MS cancels it, most probably because of Avatar or any Natal sh*t. Once again F*CK YOU!!
