Sony is giving everyone two classic PS2 games remastered in HIGH DEFINITION (unlike Halo 3) and you call that a "pathetic attempt"?

if you just want to install each DVD to the HDD, just buy a damn PC.
Graphics look better on there anyway.
One of the point of consoles is to, well, use the disc and leave the hard drive alone.
And when it comes to the PS3 installs, entire games don't install on the PS3 HDD, just parts. And even technical-demanding games like Killzone 2 or Uncharted 2 don't even need to install.

Don't be sad because the xbox360 is getting a hack and slash "Ninja Raiden" game and not a true stealth action and espionage game featuring Snake. You guys are getting a "metal gear" game that will barely even touch the stor...

Sony should rerelease a lot of their PS2 first party games on the PS3 but in HD with higher res textures, more polygons, etc. And maybe add PSN online play for certain titles to make up for the PS2's utter lack of decent online.

Just last night I started playing Gran Turismo 2 on my PS3 and i bought a 1991 Prelude Vtech as my starting car.
On other games, all you can pick is "Totoya Supra" or "Nissan Skyline" but the gods at Poly...

I'd love to see another Motorstorm.
Easily the best arcade racer i've ever played.
And I especially loved playing with the motion controls! It really worked me.
Next Motorstorm idea:
Futuristic Motorstorm in Space! Playing on different types of planets and rocks, you can race in all kinds of terrain! Dirt, mountains, volcanos, jungles, plains, sand, ice, snow, some planets with more gravity, some planets ...
i believe this game is gona be something you just have to try it for yourself.
since it isn't going to be like a typical video game, take reviews with a grain of salt.
if you're gona wait for reviews, maybe wait till someone who bought it doesnt like it, and trades it in. then pick up that used copy and try it within the 7 day grace period (is that from Gamestop only?).

I want to trade in my PS2 for that slim.
I already have an 80GB PS3 fat with PS2 BC, but i want a PS3 slim due to the less power and less heat thing.
My dad also wants a bluray player so maybe i'll just give him my fat and buy him a used bluray remote.
We can keep our old PS2 games that i bought for my sister and she can play it on the PS3 fat. I really don't touch PS2 games anymore since PS3 games are so awesome.

And yeah DD gives options, I watch more movies on the PS Store than on Bluray, but only during those nights that I just want to watch any cheesy flick and i'm not picky about how it looks.
But when i actually want a movie that I want to blow me away and watch it in 1080p full HD in 5.1 surround sound, i will go pick up the Bluray instead....
