yes. earlier than the others by a few hours too
Care to elaborate? Works pretty well in my eyes, I can always seem to find a game. There's a few smurfs and people getting carried here and there but that's a people problem.
Agree. It's another setup that would have to be accounted for if it were done natively (1440p internal to 1440p output). Though surely it could be a developer opt-in type scenario where if they aren't accounting for that resolution it simply does some hardware downscaling from 4K. Though, just typing that out and reading it to myself, it sounds fairly unlikely most devs are going to waste too much resources on 1440p. But I imagine there are going to be loads of games this generation t...
There's a very real and tangible difference between playing games at native 4K compared to 1440p on a 4K monitor, to me at least (I too have a 27" 4K). But I also agree that 1440 is the far more sane option for gaming. And 1440p on a 1440p monitor looks great, not to mention how much cheaper it is to hit that mark with high refresh rates and all that. 1440p output support on the PS5 seems like a total no brainer.
Oooff, decent call! I'd hate to lose the distinctively British humour, but Schafer's got a great sense of it none-the-less. Can't imagine he'd ever be as vulgar and sexually suggestive but you never know, he could rise to the challenge haha
@yeahokwhatever until we see more then all there is to say is speculation. I don't think it's unreasonable to speculate that the card in question might be the 6900 XT, that in may have 10-15% less performance than a 3080 overall or to guess at the prices or the models. I reckon most of us are under the impression that AMD is showing favourable cherry-picked benchmarks and that the 60fps in Borderlands 3 to match up nicely against the 3080s similar benchmarks doesn't necessarily m...
How is it not worth the money over a 2080ti? Here in Australia the launch of the 3080 forced the 2080ti to go on sale for hundreds of dollars off and the cheapest new 2080ti is STILL a few hundred dollars more expensive than a 3080.
The percentage of people with 4K 120Hz screens would be miniscule. But more to the point the chances of a game hitting 4K120Hz on these consoles is equally miniscule. So yeah he's not wrong HDMI 2.1 isn't at all necessary. Hit solid 4K60 and most of us will be happy I reckon
Savage but on point
I don't know about on Xbox but on PC you download the 150GB then launch the game, and get with a 90GB post download update. which takes a few restarts and crashes to get to, and which runs in the game rather than in some separate download manager, so it's burning through 30% GPU usage and 20% CPU for me (1080ti and i7-8700) constantly for another 8 hours. Whats worse is if you minimise it the GPU usage goes bezerk, actually goes up to 80% and all the fans start firing it up to keep th...
First paragraph: " this game is too much like the original!" second paragraph: " this game isn't enough like the original!"
I have no issues at all with them adding manuals and reverts into both (thps2 had manuals but 1 didn't) as both things were good improvements to the core as the series progressed that didn't mess with what made it good.
@Stephamphetamine really? It's a pile of horse shit compared to Android. You HAVE to use a Mac to compile (where as android is agnostic) they can take weeks to approve, they push back on things for arbitrary nonsense reasons when you can clearly see the *real* reasons. For example if your app does something too similar to an app they have, for example, and could potentially be a competitive threat, the app just gets held up in limbo (our business has experienced similar and there are load...
Genius.
I loved the early Forza's, and FM4 was just about perfection. They've made some serious missteps since then all but ruining a lot of the joy of those games... so I hope he's right.
This review speaks to me. Not about Valorant, but about everything modern multiplayer gaming seems to be these days. I'm clearly also too old.
Oh sweet! A rhythm game ...over an inconsistent latency plagued steady internet connection reliant platform, hell yeah! Where do I sign up?!
Ah my mistake, I have ultimate. But now that you mention it I do remember them getting me with the upsell, seemed a bit silly not to spend the couple bucks extra for Xbox live (and I guess also games with gold).
I mean, it IS merged with Game pass. you get game pass you get games with gold.
@WeAreLegion late response but cool! I didn't know another version existed, thanks! I've got Java edition too so I'll give it a go. Looks like it supports basically every VR platform on SteamVR too.
Just putting it out there, my "20 year old" PS3 controller can't hold a charge for more than about 20 mins, where as my 50 year old 360 controller can (hell, why not go all in on the hyperbole too) because I can easily replace the batteries. I find it quite odd that people are so adverse to easily replaceable parts. especially parts that are one of the main points of failure with wireless devices.
