Actually, the games listed have patches that unlock the framerate so now they can go up to 120 fps. Instead of being locked to 30 or 60 FPS.
“If your TV also supports 120Hz high framerate input and the 120Hz Display Mode option is active along with VRR, you will get a variable, uncapped framerate that can exceed your chosen Graphics Mode’s 30fps or 60fps target”
And as you stated, you can also enable VRR through the hardware ...
“If your TV also supports 120Hz high framerate input and the 120Hz Display Mode option is active along with VRR, you will get a variable, uncapped framerate that can exceed your chosen Graphics Mode’s 30fps or 60fps target by 50 per cent or more (depending on gameplay).” So, effectively, you’re getting faster, uncapped framerates with the same image quality of the standard graphics settings – again, cleaned up by VRR.
So here we see that, games that have specific VRR suppor...
So Microsoft's flagship title with a supposed $500 million budget 7 or 8 years in development produced one of the shortest AAA game campaigns (heavily cut down to meet deadlines) in the last three generations. Also missing 2/3'rds of the games expected features. And the multiplayer is one of the most basic we have seen with extremely limited modes maps and features, can't even meet their own internal deadlines and actually has to double their timeframe.
Ok, but when was the last time Microsoft had a game on a sales chart that then returned a year(s) later like in the case with Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart?
Do you have any kind of reply that is relevant to what I said?
People don't understand why Sony (and Nintendo) wants to keep selling games instead of just dumping them on a service.. But meanwhile when was the last time anything from Microsoft was on any sales chart, much less returned to a sales chart weeks or months after release. Heck even multiplatform games have repeatedly suffered low sales on Xbox as it's users just wait for things to go on game pass.
The wait until it's on game pass attitude certainly can't be...
Bungie is joining PlayStation to make movies and TV. They have already started hiring artists, animators and veteran directors ect. for an unannounced Destiny Animation.
Kojima wants to make movies, there is no partner in the industry that can provide him with the tools and staffing he needs better than Sony.
Herman Hulst has repeatedly talked about Kojima Productions as if it was a a PlayStation Studio.
What I did was make an observation and then some comparisons and presented facts to support those observations and comparisons. Anything other than that is you projecting and putting words in my mouth.
It's a fact that Microsoft says there are 30 million game pass subscribers. It's a fact that they shipped 1 million units. It's a fact they had 2 million players It's a fact that game pass accounted for something around1 million players It's a fact that Oddworld had around 4 million downloads.on PS+
But only 2 million players after 1 million shipped and used sales on a service with 30 million users on three platforms seems like a low number especially when you compare it to Oddworld which got four times as many actual downloads on PS+ a similar service even though it was "pretty lackluster". and only on one platform, PS5. Which also had significantly less consoles than total game pass users..
This is an article about numbers, and my point was that with 30 million game pass subscribers they only got 2 million players after one million shipped and used sales seems like a low amount.
When comparing that with a recent topic the sales of Oddworld which you said was "pretty lackluster" and was a much smaller budget game from a much smaller developer got around four times as many downloads on a similar competing service
So, 30 million game pass subscribers could barely match the sales on PlayStation seems like a pretty disappointing performance. Especially if you consider used sales as players.
Players are not as valuable as sales.
It's pretty interesting that Oddworld from a tiny developer had 4 million downloads on PS5 but a AAA from a huge publisher could only get one million players on game pass. across two generations of xbox consoles and PC.
Yes exactly, in the 360 days Microsoft was right there leading the charge by making nearly every game online so they could sell xbox live subscriptions.
Thanks for pointing out how Microsoft has been at the forefront of moving the industry towards limiting ownership from the get go.
