This whole thing reminds me of Yakuza, Microsoft turned Sega down because it was "too Japanese" but you got people trying to act like it's Sony's fault for keeping Yakuza off xbox.
Not to mention the people who crapped on the series for years now think it's the best thing ever when it's on xbox ugh..
Yea I know what you mean. Some people just constantly say they want something other than what PlayStation does no mater what it is.
Ya know something like if Sony offers higher resolution they say they want higher framerate or if Sony says they are brining one game they always say they want some other game. Sony offers a great value proposition service they want some other service.
But I can't wait, and getting premium essentially for free it's l...
This is the most interesting part to me that no one seems to be talking about.
"enhanced with up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters"
And another thing thing no one is talking about is that PS+ Extra and Premium are getting two updates a month now. So, we should see a lot more than the three'ish games per month PSNow used to get. Especially if they take the classic games section seriously.
Ok, lets talk about numbers. A while back Sony revealed that PS+ subscriptions generated 1.2 billion. Which is it a lot, yes absolutely. But that means they are making 13 billion selling games and DLC.
So from Sony's point of view they are worried that pushing too much into services might detract from actual sales of games and DLC. And on top of that, game pass according to statements from Phil and Aaron Greenberg and others, isn...
Maybe that's true, but the original statement from Reedus about Death Stranding 2 happened months before the unsubstantiated rumor about any cloud game. It seems unlikely that Kojima would make an arrangement with Microsoft after negotiating a deal with Sony. Especially if he is joining PlayStation.
And it seems extremely unlikely that he would need cloud to make some small side project.
A review a month late that drags on the same microtransaction issue but without talking about the fact that within a week of public backlash Polyphony started patching the game to have increased rewards making the handful of cars that were ultra expensive reasonable to obtain when compared to time investments in other games.
And let's not talk about the fact that free updates have already started to roll out. ...
PlayStation users who currently have both a PS Now and PS Plus membership will be getting upgraded to the new PlayStation Plus Premium Tier when it launches this year. The length of the upgrade will be equal to the longest subscription owned.
This means if you've got both subscriptions, and you've stacked your PS Plus for a number of years, you're going to end up with a seemingly good deal.
This was confirmed within a new PS Plus FAQ section w...
From what I heard, I assumed it would be software level feature. People download the game then a server counts down the time and disables the game when the time is up. That's how it works with EA's trials.
This is awesome. I have PSNow until 10/22 But but I have PS+ until 2028 because back when the PS5 was launching all these sites had these super cheap deals for 3 years of PS+ for like 25'ish dollars so I got a few of them.
So now I have PS Plus Premium until 2028.
I was tempted to buy a bunch of PSNow cards but I decided to take a chance on Sony and it paid off big time.
All you wanted was to take cheap shots at Jim Ryan and Sony, now when presented with actual statistics don't try to walk it back. It's too late for that, your way to many comments deep in it for take backs.
"Analysis using a third-party API randomly sample usage data from about 1 million active Xbox One Gamertags during a five month period. It was discovered that from among 1.65 billion minutes of Xbox One usage, only 1.5 percent of that usage time was actually spent playing Xbox 360 backward compatible games."
What Jim Ryan said was accurate.
BC is a feature, like VRR, it's not why people buy c...
"But this is the fundamental challenge facing any official PS3 emulator from Sony, targeting PS5 - emulation of the Cell remains extremely challenging and certainly based on the RPCS3 right now, it's beyond the Zen2 CPU power of the current-gen consoles."
