It's really the fact that MGO is not connected with PSN. When you start the game you have to undergo a VERY tedious sign up process for not one, but TWO ID's. A Game ID and a Konami ID. Since it's not connected to PSN you have to start a new buddy list, new message system, have to purchase content from Konami and not PSN, etc. Other than the ID thing the game works fine and just depends on personal preference if you like it.
Hey, if you want him to shut up, tell people (1up in this case) to stop interviewing him. It's not his fault.
Anyway, on topic: yes, the ID system is full of fail... but I do still enjoy Metal Gear Online.
Man, I'm such a PC noob. I have yet to play more than half these games! I think I'll start with Deus Ex. I hear it's one of the free games listed on Gametap.
Yeah, that's pretty creepy... cool idea.

According to this review: "Look out for our full review of the 20-quid whole closer to its 24th July release."
Exactly, I agree. How can you respect his review if he doesn't even know the main character's name?
Have you seen the Japan PSN store? There are infinately more PS1 games on there, but in the US/Euro store not so much.
I see you mentioned the Need for Speed games. Those live-action cutscenes from NFS: Most Wanted were hilarious...
The article was pretty funny, particularly the MGS bit, but I wouldn't necessarily agree with their choices. My choice would be from ANY one-on-one fighting game. I dare anyone to make sense of the Tekken, Soul Calibur or Dead or Alive storylines (at least Virtua Fighter 5 doesn't even bother with a story at all).
Hey, if it's free all the better!
Thank you for addressing that. The whole article is based on a factual image, not an opinion, therefor it has every right to be considered news. If people actually pay attention to xb360fanboy.com, wiifanboy.com, and ps3fanboy.com they might see that they are really more valid sources than some of the completely useless blogs that get posted here.
I think all fanboys are equally obnoxious. I think it depends more on how MANY of them there are...

Hey, Jenzo, if your gonna play the nationality card, might I remind you that it was European disease that wiped out most of the Native Americans. Lynching postcards? Well, obviously Americans still send those all the time, end/sarchasim. Don't learn from their mistakes do they? As for guns... well, I agree to an extent. I'm not a gun person, but really if humans want to kill another for some crazy/awful reason, they'll find a way to do it guns or not. And fighting terrorism? Well, how do you ...
I like what everyone's listed so far, but I'll go with a lesser-known one: Headhunter (Dreamcast/PS2). By far one of the most underappreciated games of all time. It had a neat storyline, some descent Resident Evil meets Grand Theft Auto meets Syphon Filter type gameplay, and best of all: one the best orchestral soundtracks of all time. By now the game certainly is NOT spectacular by any means, but I urge ANYONE with an appreciation for older games to check it out. I can find it in just about ...
Just where the hell is LittleBigPlanet?
Edit: It's fine to disagree, but at least please give me The Top 5 Most Innovative Reasons to Not Think LittleBigPlanet is Innovative, okay?
That alone makes the game AAA... ;) lol
I guess based on that knowledge, Final Fantasy XII gets a 53 out of 10, Oblivion gets a 98 out of 10, and World of Warcraft gets a 562 out of 10.
YOU sir, are the Heavenly Suckage.
Warhawk essentially got an 9.5, 8, 9.5. Why? If anyone recalls, one of the EGM guys said that if the game cost more than $30 than a point reduction would be very possible. I wonder if that was really the case here... :o
Sorry guys, but don't get your hopes up... This was already over the moment this story got published.
This beta madness is getting rediculous! I think I'll just wait till the 21st... =/
