Sully, I tell ya, the way God of War runs is just bloody music to my ears, along with that incredible polish to just everything…SSM did the right thing to just be silent as they were during its development, smart move.

I agree, amazing on all fronts, but especially in that in game dialogue, my goodness, I could listen to these conversations for days, they’re so entertaining!

Why do you care what games media faces like Colin and Greg think in that regard? They can have their opinion and think that, Always. Just formulate your own opinion.

I personally think (looking at the gaming industry) Sony and their 1st Party studios continue to deliver PS exclusives that llead the charge and push the gaming industry forward - in new and exciting ways, that’s just shown time and again with the new iPs and sequels coming from Sony’s first party studios (taki...

Yeah, my older brother plays it as well and 🤯is my mind blown at times, not just from the environments (when in the sky) but also when in that cockpit view…

A beauty.

What’s your opinion of God of War Ragnarok?

575d ago 4 agree2 disagreeView comment

Oh yeah, I forgot that juggernaut from R* came out in the same year too. Goodness, and I absolutely loved both of them. But for me personally, God of War 2018 was the better game! Although, to me, RDR2 was a masterpiece and another stunning example of R* and their wizardly craftsmanship when it comes to making games.

Haha, and let’s not forget one of the most IMPORTANT things about this bald God, who’s got a violent disposition…his ole buddy Sindri😄Ragnarok has me loving him tons more lol, especially with Kratos and his grunts when it comes to Sindri - I won’t say anymore more ( spoiler territory) haha. He’s so darn funny!

Oh, and yes, Horizon: Forbidden West, what an amazing sequel, worthy to stand amongst some of the best sequels made in gaming ever. Aloy, regardless of if h...

Hey, you’re not alone, I’ve played all the God of War games as well. And I understand not saying one game is better than the other if you haven’t played both games, that just makes sense. I hear ya on that.

Having played both sequels, for me personally, I can comment on both. I absolutely loved both the original games when they came out - some of my absolute favorite games and Plagues Tale was a surprise, a gem of a masterpiece (from a small indie dev) and I’m so glad I ga...

I’m so glad to hear you loved Plagues Tale Requiem, it’s pretty amazing in an of itself, much like the first game!

Rangnarom tho, it’s a MUST for any God of War fan - who specifically loved and enjoyed 2018’s game. For real, while I’m not finished with it, what I’ve played is truly brilliant and is reminding me so much of the times when I played Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, but also The Last of Us all those years ago, and both hold a place in my gaming heart haha!

“ The player never has a chance to experiment or even think about a solution.“

So, you’re never given a chance - in your whole play through of having played the game (not sure if your finished with it or not) gotten the opportunity to experiment or think on the many many many multiple puzzles placed throughout each realm??🤨

Wow, that’s pretty interesting that someone has the same ranking as me haha. So, did you beat Ragnarok? I assume so with you placing it at #1

576d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

😂wouldn’t that be some insanity, it Sonic won game of the year, beating out both Elden Ring and God of War Ragnarok?

For real, my brother. While we haven’t finished it in this household we’re all absolutely blown away by what SSM have achieved with this sequel.

I’m so glad to hear you’ve loved it!

Right. I’ve put in about 10 hours so far, with the wife on Ragnarok, and the amount of polish and refinement felt and that we’ve both noticed and mentioned to each other over 2018’s game, man, that cannot go without mentioning. Anyone who says this is lazy, get outta here lol.

The depth added to not only what was a brutal, hard hitting a fantastic combat system is just made all the more amazing in this sequel and must be played to be appreciated. The early videos we saw be...

I won’t rank Ragnarok just yet, although it is honestly leaving me and my wife blown away…won’t go into details right now, not done as I assume others aren’t either, maybe some of you are, idk haha.

But here’s how I rank them

5. God of War 3
4. God of War Ascension.
3. God of War 1.
2. God of War 2.
1. God of War 2018.
