Agreed, it does look like the models were imported into UFC5, where as if they were remade from the ground up on this new engine they’re using you’d think we’d see a real difference. Yeah, I can appreciate some of the gameplay improvements, which look to add a greater sense of realism to the environment/feel of UFC in a sense.

And yes! Thank you for mentioning both MK1 and Tekken 8. Both of these games truly do look like current-gen experiences, and had me going WOW㊄...

Man, to think how excited I was when GTA5 released 10 years ago, today…wonderful times!

I’m grateful that GTA5 was a big success, sales wise on Day 1 with $800 million made and hitting the 1 billion mark by day 3 of its release of memory serves me correct, a groundbreaking feat, showcasing the power of the GTA name, it’s popularity and impact in the gaming world that knows no bounds, with continually striving to revolutionize the open world landscape, it’s always a thrill,...

I can not say I was disappointed, because I wasn’t expecting much, knowing EA. Looks visually nice. Not much better, as this series as pretty much always been great looking! With that said, the move to frostbite engine hasn’t made much of a graphical change/overhaul to the visuals that have me going WOW🤯 To be honest, had I not watched the trailer I woulda assumed the game was using the previous engine still, just ported over for the PS5/XboxSX.

Gameplay looks stiff...

Spider-Man 2’s not “the same old” as you put it, it’s refining everything that the previous games did well, improving, building onto that, strengthening it, adding layers to the gameplay and combat, which will allow a deeper, richer gameplay experience with depth that we’ve not had before in the series. Web wing, Parrying button, team combos between Peter and Miles, the symbiote/it’s awesome powers/skills, along with Peter and Miles skills which will show new additions for sure. Add in some s...

“What's really interesting about bringing Brooklyn and Queens to life is that Miles is from Brooklyn, Peter is from Queens," explains senior art director, Jacinda Chew. "[We were] able to bring, for example, Aunt May's house to life - [Peter's] childhood home - and for Miles, Brooklyn Visions where he goes to school. Just having that contrast of what their lives are like in these distinct areas is very personal to each character."
"But then also gettin...

Oops, my bad, Apocalypse, how could I forget Rift Apart?🤦🏼‍♂️ But no worries, as you’ve clearly shown it was in fact a rift shattering experience with that first bite. Lol. Love how you word this stuff haha.

Have a great weekend!🙏🏼

It was indeed. So glad there are studios/teams (specifically within Sony, although there are others outside of them too) that show this humility and strive to always do better, learning all around.

Yes, yes you did. Lol. For real though, well said Apocalypse!.

Those cakes from Insomniac are coming outta the oven “Fully cooked” not underbaked like many others in the gaming industry. Each cake by insomniac is made with just the right amount of love and care. I mean look at the examples

1. Marvel’s Spider-Man PS4 - A cake which was new to Insomniac, a different take on their cake baking, but a cake that would really challenge their skills…in the oven ...

“So we are always evolving and challenging ourselves to get better. Miles Morales had a better production process than Spider-Man 1. Ratchet & Clank had better production process than Miles. We are always evaluating and improving. Have we perfected it? No. But we are always asking how we can make the process better for everybody.
We are honest with ourselves that we don't do everything perfect, and that allows us to have that open mind about how we can be better. Not just in...

Yeah, I’d love to see that done in more superhero games as well. Also to just see it be a standard in more games in general would be wonderful!

Lol, stop with the foolishness. Is your day that boring that you feel the need to make up lies?

People said Horizon: Forbidden West was DLC from the first game, yet as reviews showed that was NOT the case! And when gamers got to play it for themselves the reception from fans was the game was amazing, fantastic, great, a masterpiece. It was a sequel done right! A sequel that can stand tall with the likes of Uncharted 2 and Mass Effect 2. Simple as that. I’ve said this befor...

Being that we’ve seen gameplay of both Spider-Man 2 and Helldivers, both of which I’ll be getting, no that was not enough.

“▪️30, 40, 60FPS modes, all with ray-tracing and 120Hz (VRR support)
▪️Much more destructible interactivity with the environment”

The impressions from those who’ve gotten to play it have been great, no surprise there. So looking forward to the game come Oct 20th! Looks like it’ll be fantastic.

It reminded me of GTA5 as well. I’m looking forward to seeing more of that character switching.

Hmmm, I never thought about upgrades to the web wings. Maybe. But I don’t know if speed for example would be an upgrade, considering it already looks fast, and rendering everything as quick as they’ve been able to on the fly is already an achievement in itself. So, I’m not sure how they’d go about upgrades for that. But what do I know. I’m no dev.

Yeah, this was silky smooth. Insomniac improving and polishing the game up so so nicely. And what did you think of that almost instant character switch? That was super impressive I thought.

Yeah, the web wings look like they’ll offer tons of throughout our game experience for sure, with how they increase traversal across the city for us, but just the speed increase it provides us etc.

@northpaws

Yeah, I understand why they showed Spider-Man 2, makes sense. Along with info coming out tomorrow by YouTubers who’ve played the game. I assume gameplay will follow with those impressions they give? I don’t know for sure.

It’s just annoying that the past 3 showings Sony has had has been really underwhelming. But yes, their next showcase etc will be interesting. Hopefully it’ll bring a bundle of great new and exciting IP’s to show off/along wit...
