If it is a separate disc for single player and multiplayer each, no worries- only an idiot would bother playing Battlefield's single player offering. Bad Company 2's attempt was dire.
I'm sure people who play with inverted cameras care (myself included). I'd prefer it if you didn't talk on behalf of myself and all the other gamers affected by this- if you don't care about the issue, go do something else instead of spreading your nonsense.
THey might rather 6 hours of awesome, but based on previous Battlefields, I'd expect a very, VERY average singleplayer regardless of length.
I can't stop using my Apple keyboard- perfect for everything and isn't a glowing blue/red/green mess.
Before the haters hate, I use a PC, just an Apple keyboard.
"Xbox finally joins PS3 with new 3D update."
Damn it.
The issue with Borderlands wasn't the size of the game. It was just very boring and repetitive. Hopefully it'll be a far bigger, but a drastically more diverse game.
Torchlight 2!
Alan Wake and Halo Wars are seriously solid games- 2 very original offerings worth owning a 360 for.
Every day, there's another piece of news which puts me off BF3- this game is going to stink with all the nonsense of the past few months. They think because it will be pretty they can get away with anything- leave it on the shelf and buy Skyrim, Arkham City or Rage instead.
Origin stinks (any forced use of a distribution platform for that matter- Steam is hardly better), the lack of a server browser stinks, their constant petty boasting stinks and I can be damn sure that ...
Torchlight 2
Even before the Wii, Nintendo were sitting on enough money to compensate for a bad console- enough even to release an alternative if it was a true failure.
I think Bioshock is the best looking game ever. I also think that Bioshock Infinite will be the best looking game ever.
Him and Ken Levine are the best game designers of our time, with Kojima and Ueda up there as well. I couldn't agree more wholeheartedly with his sentiments towards 3D- a terrible gimmick which too many consumers lap up. 3D could be the death of the game and movie industries, but fortunately I have enough faith in mankind's ability to get bored with things that it won't be worth worrying about.
Ah that's a real shame- I can appreciate the benefits of Steam and I'm certainly a massive fan of their regular deals, but I like to avoid supporting digital distribution platforms where I can. Unfortunately Skyrim won't be a situation where I can avoid it.
Thanks a bundle for the info though!
Will Skyrim using Steamworks mean I'll have to register my PC retail copy on Steam as a form of DRM and what not? Like buying a retail copy of Left 4 Dead or another of Valve's games on PC for example. I don't really understand the distinction between Steam and Steamworks...
Sweet Valley High!
Yeah that's what I meant by "some" like Braid and Limbo. For a good while it was an exclusive many PS3 owners really wanted. The Live Arcade games are a wicked selection.
Alan Wake is one of my favourite games of this generation. I think the Xbox's most valuable exclusives are the Live Arcade games- Shadow Complex, Limbo, Braid, Trials HD, Super Meat Boy, Splosion Man and Ms Splosion Man, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, Bastion, The original Banjo games, Toy Soldiers, Castle Crashers, Geometry Wars, the Monkey Islands, Perfect Dark, Torchlight, even Fruit Ninja- there are so many! I know some like Braid and Limbo eventually found their way to the Playstati...
I could have cried when someone put MGS4 spoilers up in random N4G discussions- that was a biggie.

When I still had my PS3, Metal Gear Online was my favourite online experience, then out of nowhere, whenever I chose the option from the MGS4 menu, the system would just return to the XMB. No matter the solutions I tried it wouldn't work- not even other copies of the game or a format. Madness- particularly annoying as I totally loved that game, would totally love to play it again.
