I'm not trying to downplay the game, I have zero interest in it, and I'm only commenting on this because Xbox was tagged originally, but sometimes some people think something is super deep when it's not. It's just shit. An example I'll use is Snowpiercer. One of the worst movies I've ever seen. I watched it because I saw it getting praise for how amazing and deep it was. It was just awful. When I said as much, I was told I just didn't "get" its meaning. N...
Stop the presses folks! reaperofsouls is worried about yet another Xbox game! Nobody cares. However, judging by the average user base of this site, I'm willing to bet money that you'd be singing a different tune if this was on Playstation.
"4 out of 10 is way too low for this masterpiece! They're just not cultured enough to appreciate niche games!"
I've been hoping for another Dave Mirra game for years. At this point it seems like a lost cause, but a man can dream
Personally I'm content with buying a game I know I'll invest time in and wait for everything else I want to go on sale. Also, I buy everything digital these days and honestly I'm sick of being charged $60 for it when those same games are dirt cheap on Steam or other PC vendors. So hopefully they made a game that stays on my mind otherwise I'll forget about it and move on to something else
I've only experienced bad lag in ranked games, which also started 4v5. I've been dropped from games, had lobbies error out, and have played against other people that withstand an entire teams shooting them point blank with gnashers only to one shot everyone, so it's frustrating and honestly I don't think it's blown out of proportion. Usually for every person that will rage about something online there's a few that don't say anything. Every online game these days la...
I'd say the more cancerous things when it comes to gaming are the rabid fanboys (of both sides) and absolutely trash websites and "journalism" that infest it. But that's just me..
As far as Battlefield 1 goes, nobody is forcing you to buy DLC. That goes for any game. If you don't like it then don't play it, but don't tell me that the $110 total I spent on BF4 wasn't worth the 300+ hours I have in the game. Going off of what I got for my mon...
I have fond memories of Pitfall. But I have nightmares thinking about E.T.. I also have fond memories of a game called Black Cauldron on an old old PC we had. Going from atari to that I couldn't imagine how graphics could get any better.
Said the same to another in this thread but Black Friday tvs aren't worth the money. Many are made with subpar parts. Wait until early February and buy one right before the super bowl. You'll save a ton of money and get a tv that's made with quality parts
Don't get a tv on Black Friday, those tvs are made with subpar parts and sold as the "real deal" so to speak. If you can wait, shoot for February right before the Super Bowl. New models come out end of Feb/early March so you can get awesome deals. Got my tv for $1250, original price was $2300. Still not cheap but far better price
You're telling me that increasing power won't change the game mechanics?!?!?!
Mind Blown!!!
Lots of those on this site. It's absurd
Yeah buddy I'm a wee little baby who's mommy buys me everything. Look if you want to think your TV is different than just about every one ever made go ahead, but you're lying to yourself. The first step in not looking like a moron is knowing what you're talking about. I suggest you start using google, all kinds of information you might be able to comprehend right at your fingertips.
Hot damn I haven't heard Telstar in forever. I was born in '80, dad had a Regent (I think? there was like 10 different models or something) but by the time I was old enough to play it it was broken. Started out with Atari and gaming had a death grip on me since
@joeorc
Actually what it boils down to is Sony saying no to mods.
Calling people sheep then regurgitating marketing BS like 240hrtz....
Color Tv came out in 1954, so unless you started gaming on Atari or Colecovision with a 30 year old tv I'm callin BS on the black and white gaming. Gaming has come a long way but there's no need to be overly dramatic. Also, sorry for being a dick.
Ahhh so sequels are ok as long as it's Sony making them for the games you want to play. Typical of the type of "gamer" I see in every comment thread on this site
No problem. Just be wary of Black Friday deals you see in November. Many of those tvs are made with subpar parts but marketed as the same thing. Feb/March is usually when all the new tvs start coming out so they drop prices on older models like crazy. Getting a nice oled shouldn't be too hard around that time, just takes patience to wait for another 5 months lol
Do you have any special inside info we should know? If not, then nobody gives a shit what you think. Sorry to break it to you so harshly, but you're nobody.
This game looked like dogshit from day one. It's sales would have been pathetic even if it turned out being decent. Which judging by everything that's ever been shown, wouldn't be the case. Cutting the cord and stopping the hemorrhaging of money is the best thing to do. The fake butthurt on this site an...
