Nice to see someone else saw the humor in his comment, I thought that I was going to be the only one.
These forums are places where we are supposed to put our opinions forth on the articles. He has as much right to place his opinion here as you do yours, no matter how distasteful that opinion might be to others.
@mistertwoturbo
Yeah the code is pretty stupid, and I personally disagree with his statement, but Surfman's comment just pissed me off with its lack of acceptance. Anyway Bubbles to you and littletad.
I'd say its just a lack of creativity, the one where you play as a zombie was OK but the rest were just other games with zombies tacked on.
The PS3 is coming on really strong this year, I really can not wait for LBP and R2. Sadly I probably will not have enough time to play any games besides these two (except maybe a couple of PSN titles).
You realise that this article is actually about him complaining that developers do not get enough credit for the games that they create and not about himself, right?
That was pretty funny, even if I disagree with its overall statement, nice comment.
You are a true idiot, you should not bring your stupid console war into an article talking about people loosing their jobs. This put their and their families future onto uncertain grounds, especially with the oncoming recession. I wish them the best in finding a new job quickly.
This probably happens for a number of reasons. The two most likely reasons are the fundamental concept the game is based on is bad, or the title just lacks the necessary polish to implement it's ideas properly. The first one is rare in big budget titles which can afford to have the game tested, and then can scrap the project without losing to much money. Smaller companies may have to follow through with their projects to recuperate their losses. The second issue can affect all companies, ...
I doubt Silogon is a Sony hater. From what I can tell his favorite game so far this generation is Uncharted. He is just extreamly opinionated and vocal.
It will be more than a couple of years. MM plans on supporting this game for a long time.
Pre-ordring at Amazon, 10 dollars off with their promo code, no shipping if your willing to wait a little (I'll have to wait until I'm home from college to play anyway), plus a level building guide. Although I am curious at what that guide entails. Is it explanations of the more complex game features or will it teach you basic level design. Either way I'm sold.
The inability to really control your self in mid air, like Mario, makes sense considering that the game is physics based.
I think that there are copyright issues in letting people post music in their games without permission.
Of course Sackboy will be huge, I can't help but smile whenever I see one with that huge grin on its face while it is waving to you.
The family friendly image of the Wii will never go away. It is to ingrained into what people think when they think of the Wii. It is the same reason that even if they fix the 360 people will think it is faulty, and even if the PS3 had the largest collection of games ever, people would still say that there is nothing to play on it.
That does not always work. To prove my point check the links.

If you delete all but the first episode you get to keep all your progress and archive information, and it only takes up about 1gb of space. When you want to play again you can redownload all the other chapters, for free and as many times as you want, they even include instructions on how to do this in the game. While it is a bit of a pain to do all of that installing again, it is a nice and effective alternative to having to import the disk.
They really shouldn't call this fact or fiction, it is just 2 guys giving their oppinions on about certian aspects of the industry. For instance they can not actually say that LBP being a system seller is fiction, because it has not been released yet. Same with how important the abillity to download games onto the 360 hard drive.
Wait until you get farther in, it gets a lot scarier. They also do some really unexpected twists in the story which effect gameplay.
You are actually living breathing proof of a hypothesis I have been considering for a while now. My hypothesis is that no matter how many games are released on the PS3 or what their quality is, people are never going to stop saying that there is nothing to play on it. Their are quite a lot of good games on it including some real gems like Uncharted and Warhawk.
If you truly can find nothing to play either you are a hardcore RPG fan (in which case your complaint is reasonable) or you ...
