If it has had it for a while, why don't more companies use it. They will recover the money they give Valve, with sales that would have come from pirated games, plus some.

If MS did not pay R* for the DLC (*cough* multi-platform) the sales ratio would have been 1-0 Sony. So in Microsoft's eyes, any sales they take away from Sony is a win to them. Simple as that, no need to get upset.
I can't see xbox360 owners upgrading their system for blue-ray. Next generation I think all the game systems will have blue-ray.
You missed my whole point. My point was not to criticize someone for making what YOU think is a bad choice. The PS1 was a piece of sh!t when it came to quality (imo), but I still bought the PS2. My PS2 turned out to be a piece of sh!t when it came to quality (imo), but I still bought a PS3. In the end, I buy these machines for the games. Stuff just breaks sometimes.

I like my PS3, great quality, but don't be so quick to pat sony on the back for their decisions, and quality on their consoles. I'm not flaming, just stating the facts.
PS1 - I don't know about you but I had to flip mine over for it to work.
PS2 - Scratched several of my CD(blue bottom) games. Had to send the console for repair, can't remember the cost...about $100. Why Lego Star Wars, why!

If yours is working, just play the game and don't worry about it. These companies lie to us all the time, so they can separate us from our money. This is why I wont wait in line for a hour to buy anything anymore.

Install the 3 DVD discs and just run the game off of the Hard Drive. Who needs BD for games, not me. I have tons of multi-disc PC games, it did not bother me because of the installs.

Sony made us all pay out of our A$$ just to win the HD format war. Why the need for a Blue-Ray disc if we have mandatory install of the games anyway. PC gamers know what I am talking about. 5 disc install, but only 1 disc needed to play the game, once it is complete. Where is Sony's LOYALTY for us buying a PS2 and PS3!

What the hell...when Splinter Cell came out for PS2 they watered it down big time, compare to the XBOX. Why can't they do the same with this game. PS3 in all its glory and 360 watered down.
