PC hasnt always been more powerful than console, I assume your not old enough to remember what was happening in gaming before Voodoo cards.

Semi-open i recon, as linear as those close sections are you can still back travel freely without loading. As good as it is H:ZD still gets my vote.
I doubt we will see the next gen include SSDs, not unless they massively come down in price. A hybrid drive may be possible but probably wouldn't shorten load times of games anyway.

Regardless of rez or visual quality the thing I dislike about Forza is that visible racing line on the track, puts me right off. I assume you can disable it but the cornering indicator used on GT is far better imo. Each to their own i guess.

I was hoping 1440p60 would be the bare minimum for the next gen of consoles with 1800pCB at 60fps to native 4k60 being more the norm going forward.

Sony would make a killing if they released a gamer-orientated low lag, high refresh-rate freesync2 enabled PS branded TV along side PS5. I'd certainly start saving the pennies!
I dont know if Spiderman will sell as fast but I assume it will sell more by Christmas than GOW did in the same time period purely due to kids asking Santa for a copy.
No point aiming for higher frame rates than 60 on console, most 4K TVs top out at 60Hz. I cant imagine many use monitors either.

Uncharted 4 already looks nicer than Farcry5 at any rez, I obviously understand Uncharted wouldn't look as visually impressive if it was open world but still your statement is inaccurate.
From what I've seen of TLOU2 i'm guessing that will take the graphical top-spot from GOW.
In which case i stand corrected - that interview was some time ago...
The X isn't better for MP stuff if all of your mates play on PS4, nor is it better if you prefer GT over Forza - "better" is completely subjective.
