Of course not, by all accounts the PS3 architecture was too difficult to emulate but when feasible Sony do appear to value BC and have done for some time. No matter how you look at it Sony wouldn't be copying MS if they introduced it again next gen.
Sony's HW was far better designed than M&S this gen. It was one of the reasons Xb1 did so badly.
You make it sound like MS invented BC - PS3 was natively BC.
I'd never felt such an emotional attachment to VG characters before playing TLOU - masterpiece indeed.
The technical aspects are indeed something ND should be proud of but the emotional attachment I felt for Joel and Elle in the first game was something I'd never experienced in a video game before...or since when I think about it!
Same here apart from TLOU where I did feel an emotional attachment to the characters - not happened since.
With the exception of the TLOU no game has ever really "moved" me. I genuinly felt for Elle and Joel...for some reason?
I wouldn't say it sucks but it does add far more potential for cheating, aimbot has put many PS4 gamers off tanks mode in Warthunder.

N64 should have better visuals than PS1, it was way more powerful. IIRC its graphics chip was developed by Silicon Graphics.

Yea the native app on the Samsung KS7000 but i do understand not all TVs from different manufacturers have this functionality, IIRC a while back Richard Leadbetter from DF mentioned Samsung TVs specifically when talking about a HDR Youtube video he had uploaded.
Warthunder - hated it for the first hour...I've put another 100 or so in since!
Youtube already outputs in HDR on my TV.
Oh i'm not defending Sony, they may value BC but their far from perfect - I was just pointing something out.
