I bought my first PS3 at launch and I've been waiting for a cross game/party chat system ever since. Somehow I've managed to upgrade to the slim, find a great girl that's worth dating and even have my fist child on the way (due in May 2010) all before Sony could get out the chat system..... Sony needs to get the ball rolling.
I had major Lag issues yesterday on the console version. I was back and forth between 1 and 3 bars and it was totally unplaable. The other team had no problem kicking my ass. I ended up having to turn my system off several times and it eventually went away after a while.
My roomate has it on the 360. I have it on the PS3. I could see the envy in his eyes and facial expressions and he continued over and over again to come into my room and watch me play. Maybe its the Sony Bravia with the Bravia link that makes it look so much better. Who's knows? All I know is that he has my Dolby Digital 7.1 surround sound setup in the living room but it's a complete waste since the 360 can't output HD Digital Theatre Surround sound (HDDTS)or even DTS for that matter. :( ...
Do you need a moded 360 to play this? If so what do you need to do?

Does anyone agree with me that Lord Of The Rings Battle To Middle Earth (LORBTME) is one of the greatest RTS games ever? Is it 7 races?? The use of hero’s and the ability power them up to higher levels for different magic ability’s. I hate the fact that it’s on the 360 and not the PS3 but I've been going back to it for years now! M$ screwed themselves, they did what they always do, threw truckloads of money around hoping they could buy their sucess. Next they will be forcing Rockstar to submit (Sell) themselves to M$. Because thats what they do best, buy out the competition.
And the reason why M$ is so quiet is because the bread and butter of M$ AKA Vista is in turmoil. Their spending their immediate recourses on salvaging that and trying to buy out Yahoo, since they can't compete with Google.
For me the picture is 50 percent of the experience and sound is the other 50 percent. 7.1 is crucial for my playing online games because I can hear exactly where the gunfire is around me or if someone is creeping up from behind or around me =)
From what I've seen is that all Blu-Ray disks are supported is DTS. Just from what I've rented.

Again, I see there is some confusion: Speakers themselfs arent 7.1, the 7.1 refers to 7 speakers for full surround sound and a seperate subwoofer for the low frequences or bass. Plus you will need a Reciever to output sound to 7.1 or to allow you to send sound to that many speakers.

Got mine on launch day and dumped it about a month ago for a PSP Slim and GTAIV. Best decision I ever made. I feel terible for the poor smuck who gets that system, amazing it didnt RROD yet.
I don't even know why we bother comparing the DS to the PSP. They’re so far away from being on the same level. Literally the DS success comes from the cheap price parents are willing to shell out to shut their kids up for a few hours. It entertains them... in a way it's kind of an electronic binki.
The funny thing is that graffix are actually pretty comparable to that of the Wii.
I welcome 3d with open arms. As a person who owns a Panasonic VT25 3D TV and has watched 3D content personally can tell you that anyone who says they will pass on it or refuses to play it in 3D is either one of these.
A. Can't afford the technology yet and are upset. TV's in 2010 are less expensive this year than the same TV's in 2009.
