This is really all just PR talk. Like, do they have a plan to LOSE next generation? Of course not. One thing Phil is decent at is making hype. Xbox has been a letdown this whole generation. I need to see something good before i start giving Xbox some ‘win’ credits.

When i bought an Xbox One S a couple years ago i was surprised they still did batteries. For me it seems like a way to cheap out in production costs.

i tend to play games that i can Platinum and not play games that woudld take a long time to platinum..... perhaps i’d play a lot more interesting games if i just played them and ‘collected’ whatever trophies i could during the time.

Yes, the console might drop into 9 TF at times, but it will never reach 9.2 TF as people are suggesting. Mark Cerny specifically stressed that even at a 10% power drop on the GPU under an extremely heavy load, the clockspeed would drop a few percentage (2-3% maybe 5% at most). So instead of 2.23 GHz the GPU would drop to 2.1 GHz, still well above 9.2 TF. Unless the GPU dropped 11%+ in clockspeed it's not hitting 9.2 TF and will always stay above that.

No one was ’smoked’.. The systems are doing two different things in terms of how they are managing their resources.
The power difference on paper is what? Somewhere between 10-20%? This difference is smaller than PS4/Xbox One... PS4 Pro/OneX... It’s not that big of a leap that people are trying to make it.

Also with this crazy awesome SSD it can drastically reduce duplicate data, which means less GB size for game downloads. Thus is why they weren’t too concered with the SSD size to intall/reinstall games.
Xbox One has been ‘cheapest’ for a few years now and i’ve seen no ‘comeback’ to warrant this statement
Yeah! 3D models look paper thin yet the games are really good. Sold 150M+ units to boot.
But.. PS2 was also a cheap DVD player... keep that in mind.
It is arguable that 360 was ’stronger' than PS3.. (the proof is in the games and the difference between how they were optimized as well as their specs on paper).
