Gears coming to POS3, you wish.
It's impressive if you care about the Wii and acknowledge that it's a HD gaming console. The console only sales on hyperbole, period. Most people who buy a Wii play a game or two then let it sit on the shelf. I know of several people who were dying to get one, got it and have sold it or it just collects dust. Great, the Wii is selling well, big deal.
I don't believe VGChartz #'s. I think the 360 sold even more than that. At every store I have been to, no 360's, but tons of POS3's. Indicitive of supply? Maybe to some degree, but the fact is there has been a big shift and whether you POS3 owners want to admit it, your so-called gaming console is fading fast. There's only so long you can chant, "Wait until...that will be the final blow!"
Phony can't afford to cut prices and when the finally are able to, MS will price drop again. Next year, the final version of the 360 is due out so I expect another $50 drop. And now that BD players are getting much cheaper than a POS3, Phony is hosed. Besides BD, who would really want to buy a POS3?
Gears 2 has sold over 3 million, probably near 5 million by end of year. Business as usual for Xbox....
Seems to be the going trend for Phony. Disappointing Bluray sales, disappointing title sales, smacked around by RROD console and the list goes on.

DVD9 is what is killing POS3 sales, period. People think MS was stupid for not including a built-in HD player, but in fact, they are beating Phony at their own game. As for spinning the numbers, look at the North America NPD numbers and it's been close this year, but the 360 has outsold the POS3 in 2008. And the worst part is yet to come after the holiday season numbers hit.
This is clearly a post of desperation. Even by going to the PC to add movies, who really cares. We have it, Phony don't.
