Yeh with Valhalla I saw a fair number of people say the familiar line "oh Ubisoft has breathed new life into Assassin's Creed again" - but I sure didn't enjoy the maybe 2 hours of time I gave it. And Watch Dogs Legion was absolute garbage compared to WD2.

Yeh Elden Ring is my most awaited game.
I'm still waiting on a 60 fps BC patch for Bloodborne or a remaster. Played through Demon Souls, the remake, Sekiro and Dark Souls 1, 2 and 3 - but Bloodborne fell into my backlog ages ago.
I could play it now but I feel like I've waited this long I may as well hold out for 60fps in the form of a PS5 update or even a PC version.

If I have to play a game for more than 10 hours to like it then I'm not ever going to like it. I normally move on after 2 hours of not liking a game but I really tried with this one.
I've put about 10 hours into Tales and I just can't do it anymore. I really wanted to and thought I would like it but it's become grueling.
The dialogue is really bad, the side quests totally uninspired, the story generic and aside from a boss battle or two the difficulty is non-existent. You can stand back and just let your other party members win the battles.
Even a so-so FF like 15 is better imo. And FFVII Remake ten fold.
The most fitting type of games for Season Passes would be sports games - but instead you get full price bare minimum efforts like this glorified roster change of a game.

I think a lot of people still don't realize with it displaying games at 720p it gives it a chance to catch up some to desktop pc performance - being that they will be using more resources for much higher resolutions.
You can definitely tell a difference. Some of the streaming services even have it with some of the newer shows and movies. Just got done binging Midnight Mass and it looked great with the dolby vision. I recommend the series too.
I only played the first 30 min or so but didn't see any dips at all (to my naked eye at least) on a 3080@4k ultra settings. Guessing the dips are just in isolated areas as opposed to common.
Gorgeous game but was pleasantly surprised how easy to pick up but fun the combat was as well. Looks like it might have some fun skill upgrades along the way.
Ha yeh what little I've played is fun. I haven't played a jrpg in ages either so I'm psyched. I'm looking forward to really digging into the meat of it but damnit I can't pull myself away from Deathloop now!
