The title says "for Sega Genesis", but if Wikipedia is to be belived, the Genesis game and the SNES game were two completely different games by two completely different developers, and the Capcom/Mikami one is actually the SNES version. Virgin games made the Genesis version. I have no idea if Wikipedia is correct or not, but I thought I'd mention it.
This is already coming out in Japan in May? Wow, that was fast since the last one came out. Only a little over a year since the first one in Japan (and a few months since the first one hit the US).

It's a blow because this was the next game after Halo 5 that actually had me interested in turning on my Xbox One. Now that it's on PC, I will play it on my PC.
I understand that console exclusivity is complex, and that Xbox One still has an advantage because in the PS4 vs Xbox One battle, this game is still only one one of those two systems.
Same goes for The Witness and Firewatch (for now, at least... rumors are that they could come to Xbox One som...
@ArmchairAnalyst: It just seemed poorly optimized, it was stuttering a lot and it didn't feel smooth, so I lowered a couple things here and there and it started running more or less perfectly. It was taking me out of the experience with the stuttering and little blips of pausing that were happening. On Ultra World detail @ 1080p, but with some of the special processing effects turned down a little, the game still looked really good.
I'm playing on PC here. I recently played the Witness on maximum and got a solid 60fps, but this game was running horrible when I first launched it. I checked and there was a driver update for my gpu, so I installed that and restarted my PC, and it ran pretty well the next time I launched the game. I get 60fps with drops to 40ish intermittently on 1080p Ultra. I kept world detail at Ultra, resolution at 1080p, and some other settings on High, while I moved a couple settings to Med/Low...
After 52 hours, I finally unlocked the last achievement on Steam. Whew! This game was breathtaking, amazing, addictive, insanely difficult, and EXTREMELY satisfying! @Neonridr: I'm confused, why wouldn't he be rewarded for his efforts if you bought it for your PC? A purchase is a purchase, and in fact, I suspect buying for PC gives him more money than buying on PS4 because of fees he has to pay to Sony to distribute over PSN. I paid full price for the game on Steam, and glad I did, the game is awesome! Whether you buy on PS4 or PC, you're giving great support to the dev if you actually pay and don't pirate, so good for all those who do ...

Of all the GOTY contenders, the Witcher 3 plays vary similarly to previous in the series, while Bloodborne is probably the most different. I really don't like when sites publish a video and don't put an article summing up the points made in the video. The video should accompany an article, not BE the article.
