Wonder if there are any platform specific fixes, such as bugged achievements for the 360. I never got the achievement for "Scientific Pursuits" even though I beat the mission and the game.
Unfortunately, they're not wasting money on sh!t like this. Wii owners will chuck gobs of money at this game, just like they do with all the other mediocre Wii games.
One of the best RPG series ever just released another PS2 only game, Persona 4.

Uh... that's not my understanding. I was under the impression that there was PS1 bc in the PS2 because the PS2 used the PS1 processor as its I/O Controller.
The PS2 had tons of shovelware. But, the PS2 also had tons of great games.
For quite a while (since N64 days) there have been very few great Nintendo games that weren't developed by 1st or 2nd parties. Now, Nintendo sees the need to make casual games, which gets rid of another source of great games.
A lot of the hardcore players have moved on. I had a Wii almost a year before PS3 or 360. The lack of good, hardcore games is what led me to PS3 and 360.
I now haven't bought a Wii game since Super Paper Mario. I buy a WiiWare title every now and then, but that's it.

I don't think that consumers have to accept the word of the producers all the time. There are plenty of Star Wars fans who don't recognize Episodes I, II, and III as real parts of Star Wars. Their opinion is valid and not childish.
Mark it down. Dead Rising for Wii will be a bad game. It will be a bad game to cash in on the Wii phenomenon like most Wii games.

Why would MS do this? They have a ton of money in the bank that should allow them to weather the current economic downturn. If they kept their staff in place, that would give them a big advantage on the other side of the trouble.

I don't see how this works without some sort of storage solution. You have to cache the data locally some how.
