Public Betas that don't change much to the end game are good for server stress tests, though.
You'll have lots of people playing the game-ish for free. Lots of people on the server.
So they'll know whether or not they need to add more machines or take some away, to optimize cost of running the servers.

If I'm told I'll have something Tuesday, I'd like it Tuesday when I get off work. At the rate it goes, I get it Wednesday after I get off work if I put it on download overnight.
I don't own a 360 so the comparisons between time is bumpkus for me.
What IS annoying, for me, is waiting until 7 PM for an update, when I'm getting ready to go to bed to go to work/school the next morning. I'd like to get off work/classes and have the stuff ready to download.
