Sometimes I wonder just how little these bloggers know about how to run a business. Really, I do.
Ugh. Really?
It's from anyone who's ever had steam installed on their computer. Many people who have installed steam just to get in on TF2 are included. They didn't care if it may or may not have run well on their computer. It's free!
I've got a 460 myself, and it's a pretty cheap card. But, it's served me beyond dutifully. I'm pretty sure it's gonna handle Battlefield 3 just fine.
I don't spend much time alone anymore, so I can only beat through a single-player game that's short. But I'm not paying full price for a short game.
I really only get games that have local mulitplayer (which means I hardly get games anymore) or online mulitplayer that many of my friends will get.
Only two of these points were valid, really. To counter those awakenings, just kunai spam. It'll keep 'em on their toes.
The real pain is the subsitution system. It makes physical attacks just plain useless. The only thing that's safe are grabs and ultimates. That's the flaw with the entire game: The substitution.
Nostalgia is a pretty powerful drug, you know.
Was going to post a rude reply, but then read the username.
The sense it makes!
You simply fail to realize the vast superior intellect of n4G members. With ages varying from 12 to 34, the pool of intelligence is simply astounding!
Of course we're smarter than Mr. Carmack!
An agree and bubble for you, good sir.
Yes. I wanted a PS3 souly for Warhawk. Nothing else interested me.
Once the PS3 gained momentum due to a price drop, the good games flowed.
I'd expect the 3DS to follow suit. Nintendo has always had an incredibly strong handheld library, and that's what I'm betting on.
Loss of trust? Is that what they're calling "increased sales" these days?
Nintendo might have been cocky at the $250 price point. Even I, a long-time Nintendo fan, had to say no.
At $180? Once they drop a good game (I'm not interested in playing Ocarina of Time AGAIN), I'm all over it.
Now, for $170, I'll bite.
I came in thinkging, "Kay. Captain America or Guile. They have to be number 1"
Was pleasantly surprised.
In their defense, burritos are delicious.
Looks neat, but for $40 dollars, it's way too expensive. At that price point, you start going "It's just a round paper cutout in a plain clock."
I love me some Sony, but I don't like them that much.
The amount of folks who believe that Xbox is the only thing that Microsoft cares about is astonishing.
Then let's top it off with the terrible article.
Since when was having dedicated servers on PC a feature?
It's like saying sound in games is a feature.
@stuna1
There's forms and worksheets that say what is too little protection. Some of which I listed above. There -is- a definitive guide.
This is business as usual. But the information's not common, so the average person doesn't know about it.
Businesses shouldn't have to learn from this.
Businesses should hire folks who know about Risk Management.
Which is what they do if they plan to be successful.
And if they don't, then that's pretty much bad management.
But, I'm pretty sure Sony has a CISO hired. He's the one that takes care of this.
Sometimes I swear that folks learned the entirety of their business knowledge off the back of a cereal box.
@Topshelf
Actually, there's a few measures.
A "Weighted Factor Analysis"
The "Threat Vulnerability Asset" analysis
Annnnd "Ranked vulnerability Risk" worksheet.
But that's not exactly common knowledge for folks unless they're going into network security or risk management. Those three examples are listed from an earlier basic class I've had.
The ...
Yes, but anyone who's taken a Risk Management class knows that by law, Sony has to provide adequate protection. If the attackers used some completely powerful program that's amazing, then Sony couldn't have possibly protected against it.
But, if Sony made a slip-up somewhere, say transmitting some data in plaintext, then Sony may have a hard time winning this one.
Investigations will have to go on to determine if their security was adequate.
New headset or the old one? The new headset isn't all that comfortable.
