Well that sucks, next-gen consoles can't even run games at 60 fps, what a joke. I'll wait for the PC version, if it never comes I'll skip it. My head literally hurts from watching this type of game at 30 fps..... next-gen my a$$...

30 fps on a racing game is a deal breaker for me.

I prefer to play racers on my PC sitting in my PlaySeat with Logitech G23 and a 55inch screen and a 5.1 surround system.

My computer is awesome, it gives it to your mom every night.

GTX 770, i7 4.2GHz, 256GB SSD, and 16GB RAM is more than enough to run this glorified console port.

You're probably running DS2 on a shitty little computer screen, it must be my 60" Samsung that is breaking this bitch game.

Read the thread from the Steam forum, you'll see hundreds of posts in 30 minutes complaining about the same. It's not user error you stupid clown, even if it works for you it doesn't mean it works for everybody. Looks like they did a really shitty job testing it.

Edit: I have 30+ steam games. All of them run perfectly from Steam. + many more outside of steam. It's only shitty DS2 that does not run.

Same here, I'm fed up now, clock is 02:00 and work tomorrow. Screw this, Clown Software can shove it, going to sleep. Hopefully they'll patch it soon so it's playable during the weekend.

And it would probably work also, unlike the PC version which is broken from day 1.

lol, fucking moron, you're either joking or what I said.

3672d ago 0 agree9 disagreeView comment

Any hint or tip on how to start the game?

3672d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Fucking amateurs, the game doesn't even start. 2 months late and fails to start. Gives a white screen then fails.

If these clowns don't patch the game soon, I'll ask for a refund.

I don't see this as a surprise. It was supposed to be released at 24:00 CET, and 23:00 in countries like Finland and others in that time zone. Rather than activating zone by zone, don't know how they would even do that, they make it available for Europe and US at the same time, that's why it's some hours earlier in the US.

Wow, excellent, we get it 1 hour earlier in Europe! Yay.

@JoGam. To be really honest, if you couldn't care less then you'd probably not be commenting on this article.

I agree. For now the PS4 is, to me, only okay to own, still very limited in terms of content for it. I also have a good gaming PC, it's not quite a dream to own either, but it's by far the most powerful and versatile of the machines, and it has huge amounts of content. Everything runs at 1080p+ at 60fps+, even old games. My PS3 games do not run on PS4 and hence they do not get any graphical boost on my PS4. I think this is a great advantage on the PC, all my games follow me through my...

That's why I can't stand console games running at 30FPS anymore, I've grown accustomed to 1080P 60FPS on the PC, after many years of console only gaming. 30FPS feels like stuttering, like something is wrong with the game, like it's lagging or something. Hard to explain, but it's very annoying. That said, I now prefer lower res and 60FPS every day of the week.

From Digital Foundry:
"There's no doubt the 360 version gives the smoother experience overall though, with an average advantage of 10fps during gameplay and cut-scenes. As a result, controller input translates more fluidly to the on-screen action, but the catch is that the Microsoft release offers no v-sync to back this up. Copious amounts of tearing break up the integrity of the image wherever you go - and the brighter the area, the more noticeable this becomes. The PS3 vers...

If you want the best you need to buy a good PC. PS4 will never touch a good PC. It's not like in the old days, when Super Nintendo, Amiga, N64, PS1, PS2, Dreamcast and many more were released and put the PC to shame. Today the PC is so far ahead performance wise, there is no contest anymore. Even before "next-gen" consoles were released they were out-performed by mid-range PCs.

Sorry, but that's the truth.

Well, I think by now it has been confirmed that XB1 is seriously lacking in technical prowess. While PS4 was somewhat of a disappointment (to me at least), the XB1 is not even a serious contender. These two "next-gen" consoles are the most disappointing consoles so far no matter what generation. There was a time when consoles were awesome, they even pissed on PC. Today, they've become second rate gaming machines more or less, you get a decent PC for a decent amount of money that...

It's been kinda shit I think. Don't use my PS4 for anything right now. I play GT6 on PS3 and find myself going back to the PC. I haven't seen much next-gen on console yet.

Not interested in any of the launch games. The multiplats I'd rather have on my PC and there are no exclusives that I like at launch. Canceled my pre-order. I'll wait till something worthwhile comes along and save my money for then.
