my 60GB died too, now I got a PS3 Slim and a PS2 Slim but the PS2 games looked so much better on PS3...
It was funny, it had a point, it was well written... A rarity in N4G.
mention me a game that has climbing mechanic, cover system and shooting. That combination's pretty unique and that's what make the multiplayer so special too.
To that add the seamles transition from cut-scenes to gameplay, the incredible graphics, voice acting and well told story. There are not many video games like Uncharted and that's a fact so it can't be generic...
Parasite Eve 3 was moved to consoles
Shenmue 3 announcement
Fear Effect 3
Chrono series sequel but with Toriyama's art-style, like Chrono Cross had to be
Dragon Quest X Wii canned, now coming to HD consoles
Z.O.E. 3 but with Kojima
MGS5
MegaMan X9 or MegaMan Legends announcement (MEGATON!)
GT5 dated
Oblivion was an open-world game with pretty advanced graphics and the PS3 version ran on just the PPU and RSX.
The problem with WKC is that while the battle system's good for the mmo aspect it just doesn't translate too well into the single payer because it's too simple. And that makes the single player too easy because there's no real strategy, no challenge.
Well I played and beat the game for the first time ever this year and it was great! Graphics were really bad but if you try to play it anyway you'll see that 10 years old game it's better than more than half the Jrpg released this gen...
Skies of Arcadia is the only game that I want.
At this point Square can do whatever they want with the FF franchise I don't care anymore, FF is not what it used to be... After playing FFXII and then FFXIII I came to a conclusion, FF is dead and SE doesn't care about making good games just money. No wonder Sakaguchi and a bunch of other employees left the company as soon as Wada took off. =(
Now they can continue their evil agenda of westernization.
FFIV, FFVI, FFVII and FFVIII are the best FF games for me but the best game from Square is Chrono Trigger and from Enix is Terranigma. The only Dragon Quest that I liked was DQVIII... FFX was almost as lame as FFXIII IMO. Only people that doesn't care that much for the genre are the only ones that can stand games as linear as these but at least FFX had more things than 60 lame missions and corridors. FFXIII was all about going forward and nothing more cuz even the armor and weapon upgrade...
Now that I see that pic right now I'm at the end of Chrono Trigger doing some side quests after reviving Chrono to get the ultimate masamune and other weapons but man... Those loading times of the PSX version are as bad as modnation racer. lol
Chrono Trigger it's an amazing game nonetheless, too bad Square doesn't make good games like this anymore...
Anyway, I would like to see a new Valkyria Chronicles for consoles on E3!!!111! That's the cl...
This is kinda off-topic but my vision have been decreasing faster since I got an HDTV and now I get headaches more easily when playing for too much time compared to when I had my old CRT tv.
I agree with you but Omega4 is a well known troll or fanboy (maybe both?) around here anyway...
it's over 9000!!!
Kojima should make a new IP as massive as MGS if he's not gonna continue the frachise on consoles. I'm very interested in this game but I hate handhelds!
Peace Walker should have been for consoles and the POS of Raiden for handhelds.
And that's only logical but Sony kinda lack in this department. When it comes to technology like hardware for visuals, storage media, HDtv's, etc. they are like the best but when it come to gaming they always need to take a look at the competition and still gets it wrong. First it was XBL vs PSN and now is Move vs Wii, just to name a couple of recent examples.
accelorometers are for when you shake the controller or do subtle moves that the PSeye simply cannot track. But at the end of the day move is essentially a very responsive head-tracking (in this case sphere-tracking)... Now my point is that to do something like the bow game you don't really need accelorometers but they still make you use 2 "main" controllers cuz of the gimmick of having to do the gesture of grabbing the arrows from your back.
so infamous 2 it's a sequel or a series restart ?
Crysis 2 looks amazing but artistically generic...
