Have to disagree on this one. The whole ending sequence was pure bad assery, making your way up those stairs and into his palace was just epic stuff. Facing him on elite and getting that final blow? EXCELLENT.

couldn't agree more. I tried to finish the original Dead Rising on more than one occasion and simply could not do it.

Well, as a longtime Halo skeptic... Reach is for me what Halo should have been all along.
I was one of the 3 mil that picked it up yesterday and had all the Halo games been like this, I would have been more into the series.
Reach is dark, less cartoony and the presentation/action is fantastic.
I sure as hell hope the campaign is at least better than ODST... that was incredibly bland.
Halo 3 grew on me and I already know the MP will be good fun.

The simple fact is that for the most part things that are for the "sheep" if you will, have some form of greatness at their root level. Otherwise they would never have become that successful to begin with.

I'm definitely not on par with any of the Halo maniacs... I just started playing it about a month ago. It takes some getting used to because it's definitely more "arcady" and I can understand why some folks just don't care for it.
Once I sink enough hours into Reach I'm sure things will pick up.
No. What sucks is that you could have a perfectly lined up headshot, and unless you're using the sniper rifle, it means jack shit.
I'm one of the dudes who plays just for fun... I don't really get the whole going crazy over online stats, but hey whatever floats your boat.
It's definitely big time fun, but I agree that having to unload over a clip of ammo to get a kill is kind of lame. You should be rewarded with your shooting skills rather than who jumps or throws a grenade at the right time.
Anyhow, lookin' forward to Reach on Tuesday.
Next gen however I hope they're gone.
When I re-bought the PS3 slim & the 360, it felt good to have a fresh clean slate again for some reason. I've been getting annoyed by them ever since.

What makes the Shenmue series superior to the Yakuza series? I've never played Shenmue... Yakuza 3 was my 1st in the series and I thought it was incredible.
