The more I see, the more I'm impressed. The game looks like it's taking a step back to it's roots and cutting out the majority of the cheesy American bollocks that completely threw me off the Dirt series to start with. I really can't see a next generation console from Sony or MS being anounced anytime soon. Normally what happens is that rumours leaking out that they are looking into possible hardware companies that have been approached to develop tech, then there are software tech demos which potentially showcase what this hardware can produce. Consoles, technically, became obsolete a long time ago. The issue with the PC today is that not many devs are looking to spend on the resources required to take full advantage of PC hardware, and that's obviously down to the costs of production of their console projects.
