Well, it still looks and plays better than Halo 3 ever did.
I own both consoles and all 3 games in Question. I think Gears is more fun to play, but KillZone 2 is by far the best looking console game ever made, whether you want to call it smoke and mirrors or something else, the point is no amount of little nit-picking is going to change that fact.
All fanboy related accusations and console power excuses aside. KillZone 2 is most graphically impressive FPS on consoles...
Regardless of the much controversial controls, I'll end up getting this game next week along with hundreds of thousands of gamers across the u.s.

I personally don't think it needed much patching if any at all.
Patapon was great fun, I'll be picking up the second one because I know it's going to be fun, and because I believe in supporting creative games like this.
A lot more ads like this in na, eu and other areas and this game will sell much better.

Infinite Undiscovery was a below average to decent game, and the same applies for Last Remnant.
Star Ocean 4 is good (not great), and I have the game, I would know.
BTW - I have all 3 games, and both systems so I have no reason to support one console or the other. What I am saying is plain: S-E has strayed far from what they once were and why people loved them: tons of...
I wouldn't exactly consider this "redeeming" of them.
S-E has a mountain to climb before they regain the respect Squaresoft once held for creating/publishing excellent RPG's.

Amanda Seyfried, who plays Karen Smith in Mean Girls and also plays Sarah in Big Love is HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT.
She has a great chest and body, and some great lips.
e xbox360 always outsells competition when a good jrpg is being sold in japan.
But the same applies for other consoles.
Japanese gamers in general love jrpgs and j-oriented games, such as Yakuza 3 for example, which moved a lot of Sony systems.
Either way, MS has a lot more work to do for its japanese audiences.
Tales of Vesperia was a big win, now Star Ocean 4.
What JRPG will be a MS exclusive next? ;)
Last I heard it was on track to sell 2 million worldwide in its initial release. Following that, I'm sure it will continue to sell steady.

Finally got a chance to pop the cd in last night and I have to say that the game is absolutely amazing. Congrats and big props to Guerilla.
They put some much needed vigor back into Sony. Now if Uncharted 2, GoW3 and White Knight Chronicles, as well as other exclusives can keep this up, Sony will be doing a lot better financially.
And the marketing needs to step it up, because these games deserve great publicity.
