Those games in no way shape or form are any better looking than Gears 2. Saying it and wishing it, doesn't make it true.

I noticed that as well. In Gears 1, I'm either running or diving 80% of the time. This guy was playing like he was out for a Sunday stroll, he would have gotten raped by a skilled squad.
Not at all, when playing on Live it's fast and furious. I don't think the person playing really knew what they were doing.
I normally don't start getting aggravated until someone starts lieing. If I hear that MGS4,KZ2, or Uncharted looks better than anything on 360 one more time, I could flip. I've got both consoles and 2 of the 3 games I mentioned above, and I see plenty of games on 360 that look as good or even better. The truth is, that both consoles are so close in terms of graphics power only a fanboy would claim that one is better than the other.
The biggest problem with the ps3 IS it's hardware. Sony PR has made alot of people think that the Cell is this mammoth processor, and that blu-ray was a must for this generation of games. But what they don't say, for obvious reasons, is that blu-ray is an in-house technology built to support their other hardware divisions, namely their hdtv division. And Sony PR doesn't bother to tell anyone that the Cell is the cutting edge of HD video codec decoding processors. I'll bet half of the people h...
I agree Roid Rage, and it's good to see that other people realize this. I mean if a console can't perform equally or better on multi-plats, it's definately telling. Also, devs saying that it's easier to port ps3 to 360 than it is 360 to ps3 is another red flag.

No, to your whole post. If that's the case then the PS3 is outdated as well. If you remember correctly, the PS3 was scheduled to release Spring 06 (3 monthes after 360). But was delayed because of licensing issues with blu-ray and poor yields on blu-ray diodes.
You can't buy a 360 for $129, so there is plenty of life cycle left. 360 will be around 10 years.
The fog is just a weather effect. If you watch the Lionhead video diaries on Live, they talk about P. Molyneux renting a fog machine so they could study it's look. If you check out the video below, you will see that you are worrying for nothing.
