I agree. Gamers should definitely respect Xbox live and its arcade games. They always seem to provide some excellent content.
Flame bait article or not. Lets give credit to Nintendo for keeping portables alive. Many gamers will always fine a reason to complain. But at the end it is not about which system is better or worse. It is about the experiences the system is providing. Right now the 3DS is bringing back that old school magic some of us gamers have grown to love nintendo for. Kudos to 3DS.
Tomb Raider was a fantastic game. Look out for my review I will be posting it soon.
@DK286K
Thanks for the comments. You have truly pointed some excellent points.
You do bring up good points. In my opinion, there has not been one system in this generation without flaws. As a matter of fact there has never been a system in any generation with out flaws.
The term fanboy comes out when gamers do not like what another gamer likes or feels one system is superior to another. I have never said in this article that Xbox is superior. I just pointed out to some of the incredible things they have done in this generation. That is not to say that ...
@ zerocrossing
Thank you for you comment. I generally leave all the negativity out due to the fact that N4G has a ton of doom and gloom negative articles. If I was to focus on the negative aspects of this generation then I would fuel what truly is hurting the game industry right now. Let me ask you a question do you go to every article relating to consoles, portable and focus on every negative aspect?
My article is based off opinion. Plus I love to get feedba...
I believe it comes down to the games. Right now Nintendo continuous to support the 3DS more then Sony does the PSVita.
@KillPwned what are you thoughts on the Wii U Deluxe? Is it worth a Purchase?
Reports show that Monster Hunter is a Cross Play Title
You right the 3DS has built an incredible line up. I have also been contemplating picking up the Wii U. May wait to see what else is offered.
Enough with the one sided opinions. Lets see what Microsoft has to offer before we make a decision.
I feel the criticism on Nintendo, specifically the WIIU is premature. The system only has 5 months. I have always believed in letting a system marinate. If Nintendo by this time next year has not learned from the post launch slowed down and does not provide a solid year of gaming then we can all start to have a reason to voice our opinion.
I own the Vita and feel it is lacking more retail games. Last year they had good games but not enough to satisfy my gamer needs. I have played the games that I truly found to be great and I am waiting for more. Here is hoping that the Vita picks up in 2nd quarter and rest of this year.
I have the Vita and have played some excellent games. I do agree that they are dropping way to many ports on the system. I want to see more diverse games and games that take advantage of the vita. Especially, FPS shooters. I could see a Battlefield, Bioschock and Crysis on the vita. I could also see more adventures games like Tomb Raider as well. Can't wait to try out Soul Sacrifice.
I think Microsoft is going to have some amazing games to show off. Right now this weeks attention is on Sony. In a few weeks the attention will be on Microsoft. Gaming is going to be at an all time high this year. Kudos to all 3 for keeping the gaming industry relevant and important.
I completely agree. For a list of games read my blog being posted soon.
The 3DS had the same situation early on that the WiiU has now. The difference is console competition and portable competition are two different things. Right now the 3DS is doing well because of the software lineup. If the WiiU starts to bring the games people will go and purchase it. My fear is that they need to do it sooner then later because PS4 has been announced and eventually Microsoft successor will be to. Its still to early to tell. Lets see what a full year brings for WiiU.
Excellent interview, I have no doubt that the ps4 is in the right direction. Lets see what Microsoft has to offer. Great time to be a gamer.
I support all 3 game companies. I think it will be great to see where they all go in the next year. The more competition we have the better the games will be in my opinion.
I have been keeping this game on my radar. Hope it turns out to be a good game.
E3 is going to be fantastic for Nintendo.
