I love how Xbox studios like Obsidian and Tango Gameworks bring unique games to Xbox. I also like how Xbox GamePass is continuously rolling out fun games to play. So far this generation between 1st and 3rd party in Xbox GamePass I've enjoyed the following:

I agree Nintendo doesn't need to conform to the general narrative of moving on to a new system. However, the reality is that developers (EA, Ubisoft, Capcom,, Sega,, Bandai Namco, Take 2, etc) outside the indie space and Nintendo's own 1st party team create these high end games that require high end machines. Ultimately, this will hurt the switch with 3rd party triple AAA support. Perhaps, Nintendo needs to be aggressive with the next generation console/hybr...

There is no drought in 2022, the only thing is that Xbox moved 2 of its biggest games to 2023. Thank you Xbox GamePass for not letting this year feel like we missing out on games.

Depends what quiet year means to you.
Didn't he just finish promoting this summer E3, High on Life, Naraka Blade Point, As Dusk Falls, Forza Horizon 5 HotWheels, Redfall, Starfield, Pentiment and Grounded. Plus he was Gamescom with games like Lies of P, The Case of Benedict Fox and more. I don't consider that a quiet year.

Yeah no different from prior timed exclusives on PS5 - Godfall, Oddworld Souls Storm, Bugsnax, and Ghostwire Tokyo in the near future.
Who cares. You can have 117 million sold with 40 million collecting dust. Go ahead and pretend that number of consoles sold are actually being used or at the very least a single individual hardcore gamer didn't buy 3 to 4 consoles last generation.

When will you learn that options are great and one choice doesn't take over the other but compliment each other in the Xbox eco system.
Platinum Games would be a good fit. These games come to mind - Bayonetta, The Wonderful 101, Astral Chain. Nintendo is in much need of a development studio who would make more mature titles. I see this development studio as a perfect fit. Does anybody remember Anarchy Reigns. Vanquish, Mad World, Transformers Devastation and Nier Automata. All made for different publishing studios but I can see the potential along with, Nintendo DNA in game creation for a solid portfolio of games for Nin...
