It is not just the theaters. Both movies released on disc for the same price at retailers too.
You think the RRP should be variable, but my point is that the RRP is not variable in other forms of media, so why should games be an exception?
War and Peace (paperback) is currently available on Amazon for $13.60. It has 1296 pages of content.
Tolstoy's Short Fiction is listed for $14.44. It contains 512 pages of content.
The Lord of the Rings is 178 minutes long (nearly 3 hours).
Disctrict 9 is 112 minutes long (just under 2 hours).
Both movies cost the same to see in a theater.
Why should gaming be any different than other forms of media? ...
I swear if Pachter ever says that the sun will rise tomorrow I am going to live life like it is my last day on Earth.
You know the price of games has actually remained consistent for over 20 years now. NES games cost $30 in 1986. If you adjust for the rate of inflation that would be $59.89 today.
The NES itself released with two bundles. One for $199 and one for $249.

Again though, worth is relative.
Worth is relative. One person may consider a game worth $60, while another does not. Even if a game is "worth $60" there will always be people who may simply not be able to afford it at full price.
So you don't know if he got your messages, but somehow that translates into "I got his permission"?
Killing gods and titans is certainly a testament of strength, but that is not what makes him a badass. Killing the fates is what makes him a badass.
Superman is undeniably stronger than Batman, but Batman has proven to be the victor against Superman on several occasions.
He is just being a jackass because he has a monitor to hide behind. In reality he is probably just a pimple faced social pariah who gets his lunch money taken from him.
He is probably also oblivious to the irony of making a "why all the hate?" article and then following it up with a string of hateful comments.
You don't technically need his permission, as Alpha-Male22 likely does not own a copyright for his forum post, but still, making an article centered around his forum post without affording him the simple courtesy of asking him gives me a very poor impression about your character. Of course then you lied about getting his permission so you look even worse.
I....I don't even know how to respond to this.
I would rather have an exclamation point at the end of an article than a question mark.
If they were worried about controversy surrounding female models in multiplayer then they should not have included a female character (in a combat role mind you) in the campaign. Either put women in combat or don't, but don't do it halfway.
They should have included female models in the multiplayer since they put Jammer in the story.
I realize that women in combat is still a controversial topic in real life, but I am personally of the opinion that su...
I just finished the campaign yesterday. I haven't even touched the multiplayer yet. I am sure there are many people who have not even touched the multiplayer yet.
Upon further inspection I see that Amazon has it listed for December. It still shows up as having a March release on my Orders page though. They should probably update my delivery estimate.
2027 is not 27 years in the future.
I have Dragon Age 2, Crysis 2, Homefront, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution (listed for March on Amazon) preordered. I will probably pick up MotorStorm: Apocalypse as well.
I don't understand how you can consider it less tactical. You can do everything you could in DAO. The only thing that is different is the pacing.
But what did each of those items release at? Prices drop after the initial release on everything.
