Why would anybody in their right mind buy a Series S if you could buy a proper next gen console with extra 100$ and have the better exclusives?
Bruh, that GPU still holds very well for 1080p/1440p. I'd say don't upgrade unless you want to play 4K, but you do you.
@MazeRunner
Ye mine's the same, an MSI 2070 super Gaming X.
If I let it on auto fans then I get 70/71ºC, but I use MSI Afterburner to set specific fan speeds. I usually use like 70% speed, a little loud but the temps are around 61-64ºC which I find "normal" temps for the GPU.
Hope it helps.
Ye, mine's normal. Are you having issues?
I get you but you also need to understand that not everybody plays that many indie games. Most ppl play triple A and those have big sizes.
"the writing, overall, was high quality" LOL
Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima would like a word with you...
It may sound stupid but Disney may sue for some screwed up reason lol
edit: They're trigger happy with lawsuits...
Just hope the devs got some good money from Epic for this, totally deserved.
Not everyone has optical fiber.
Furthermore the problem is that you only download 500mb from Steam and need to download 100GB in-game...
@Godmars290
"just willingness from execs to allow devs to be creative". I guess that what makes it a passion project. Guerrilla really wanted to make a new IP, Sony let them and they poured their heart and soul into Horizon Zero Dawn.
343 Industries "had" to make yet another Halo and it shows...
I paid 70 bucks for Ghost of Tsushima and it was worth every penny.
But i guess when you pay 5 bucks to play games like Crackdown 3 or ReCore you get what you pay for...
pfft, what about Tiny Tina?
@Kaze88 I don't think so mate, DLSS is Nvidia's technology and PS5 has an AMD GPU.
I also think next gen consoles will want to feature native 4K.
LMAO, yeah sure, look at Coalition's work, with Gears 5 having 5-6 crashes during my SP playtime, what a stable port.
We also need to keep in mind that some of that extra power will be mitigated because we're going from 1080p to 4K.
It will be a massive difference nevertheless.
@ziggurcat
There's a skill that automatically parries spear attacks if you're in the correct stance. Give it a try ;)
I bought Assassin's Creed III and Watch Dogs day one. Worse purchases of my life.
They're not very good at games tbh. Feels like they treat games like products, unlike game from Sony, which you can feel the love of the devs when they talk about their games, like Cory Barlog and Bryan Intihar for example.
@ziggurcat
Well, then there isn't much else you can do other than practice, which for me is part of the fun.
What I can tell you from experience is that once you've got the timing down, you'll pretty much parry every attack easily. By late game I was flawless parrying every attack except brutes of course.
"We don't know how to optimize a game lol"
