Who the hell is Sony? I want to know names here.
XBOX is a cornerstone in the console kingdoms. Microsoft will not go down without a fight!
Mirror's Edge had some of the best ambiance I've seen in a game. I'm looking forward to more of that.
Damn it Kojima, what a player Hayter!
Oh well, I guess we'll have to see if this Sutherland character will be a... Kiefer.
-I'm here all night folks.
I don't like how people joke about rape in prison. We've taken a serious issue and trivialized it so much that it's become a punchline whenever we read about someone going to jail.
I love the comments from Elena and Sully, funny and spot on!
It taking long time!
Who else carved a wooden idol of Kaz Hirai and placed it beside their laptop?
Yeah, that was a poor claim but I was very young when the PS1 launched.
Still, I strongly believe being innovative is one thing and being revolutionary is another. Wii innovated traditional approaches in consoles, focusing on controls instead of power. But when you look at the gaming world as a whole, the advent of motion controls did not really stick, nor did it push for a strong demand of games which used its technology.
The most anticipated games are stil...
Fair enough.
I do favor MS and Sony for sure because they employ the developers that make the games which appeal to me. I do have many positive things to say about the Wii, but not as a platform which moved gaming in the direction I prefer.
PS1 revolutionized gaming as a whole because it introduced CD's and it became a standard.
Xbox Live revolutionized console gaming because its now a staple for consoles to have a dedicated online network.
While the Wii revolutionized the traditional approach to console gaming, motion controls did not become a standard. They are an optional add-on to the core console.
I don't know. Maybe I'm speaking too soon before MS and Sony s...
Perhaps it wasn't a fad, that was a twitch response. And it did change the way people play video games and made Sony and Microsoft invest in their own motion control devices.
With all that said, however, the excitement for motion controls will not carry over into next gen. Nintendo's revolutionary concept of focusing not on power or graphics, but on innovative control schemes only changed the landscape of this gaming generation.

But when is the PS4 launching? Hopefully not next year. That would mean another year of waiting if this rumor is true.
I personally think it would be better suited for the PS3, with its established fan base. Plus I don't want to have to shell out money for a launch console. However, I can see how launching with the PS4 would create new buzz and additional interest for this game.
Revolutionary?
Fad is a better word.
I hate dumb metaphors like these.
Look at all these fools setting themselves up for disappointment hahaha
That is amazing craftsmanship!
The most logical post in here and you get only 2 agrees.
It will certainly stay a PS3 title because of the established base. It wouldn't be smart to tell all of the millions of PS3 owners, who have been waiting ages for this game, to go out and purchase a whole new system in order to play something that they've waited this long for.
I agree DoctorFraud, GTA V was mediocre compared to classic PS2 GTA, but it was a much better game than GTA IV.
