My cellphone does a lot more than my PC. And just so you know this, my PC is still more capable as far as computational capabilities are concerned when compared to my cellphone, yet the first statement is also 100% verified fact. There is effectively nothing my 2017 and most RTX 2000 series equipped PCs can do that my phone can not. 8K60 HDR video playback or encoding? Yep. Hi-res audio with multi-channel support? Supported (through a horribly convoluted DAC setup but still there). HW RT? You...

I know... I wrote that around $1,100 is what it will cost just to run PS4 and PS5 games on a PC today. Not what was needed to run them at 4K60 at max settings.

Also (and this is a general question not aimed at you), who downvoted me but was too cowardly to rebuke my arguments in the same thread? Oh right, PC gamers.

Me: "Is this offensive to the Japanese? No. Should it be? It depends on how the individual feels."
You from later replying to an as of yet still unedited comment: "We bash on white liberals getting offended on behalf of others but then we go and do it here meanwhile the Japanese don't care."

Yeah... So, where did I say I'm offended or that the Japanese should or are super duper offended by this again??? I don't care how we in the wes...

The Japanese have no problem with it? I wouldn't go that far. Yasuke is known, he is also known in Japan for not actually being a Samurai. Is this offensive to the Japanese? No. Should it be? It depends on how the individual feels. If said individuals know Ubisoft is intentionally messing with Japanese history to fufill ESG quotas; I'm just guessing the possibility of those individuals disliking the game would increase.

Lemme get this straight... $300 just for the CPU. And $400 for the OS ($99), motherboard ($109), case ($74), SSD ($84), RAM ($64), and GPU ($-30? Um...) combined (excluding the price of a the game, and human interface devices like TV/monitor, KB/M, and mic/speakers). Yeah, I mean if you make a gaming PC with no GPU and even cheaper components than I listed the prices for, it could come in at $700. Otherwise it will cost at least $1,100 to run modern games including PS4 games updated for PS5 l...

Sorry that you did miss out on it. Console gamers were eating well on the PS4 and on PS5. At least you get to experience some of these games now.

Never eaten at Chilis or Applebees... are they really that bad?

I could've ripped apart every single point you made. Medal of Honor was big on PS2 that wasn't a kids game also PS2 had shown that sub-par HW specs did not translate into sup-par visuals with numerous titles blowing the competitions best out of the water. Ratchet and Clank was 60FPS while rivaling SM Sunshine. Only some 3rd party titles really looked atrocious on PS2 one being RE4 on GC and PS2 and the other being Splinter-Cell on Xbox and PS2. Not many comparisons like those exist. T...

"I am coming from a perspective that have said devices busted, even if some of my others are in tact it doesn’t change the facts that the hardware fails. And if it’s gone which in the next decade could be EXTREMELY hard to find functional ones the disc mean jack."

So what hardware fails. PCs move on and emulation gets more and more complex. If games are AOL then when the seevers go down they're gone and most of what makes those games is bound in online MP. For...

I have loads of old CD and DVD systems as well as ancient console HW none of which failed on me except my PS3 with its very complicated 3 laser diode which no longer reads CDs and DVDs. The laser can be replaced without replacing the console in that case. But generally speaking laser diodes last longer than 20 years (not talking continuous use to be clear). You could also take better care of your systems and not damage the lens of the drive. In my case looking at PS3 the laser diode failed fo...

Yes, it not only makes you wrong but not anymore intuitive than anyone else who guessed the head of PS WWS would take the mantle as CEO of PS (which I will repeat I stated and you disagreed with).

I didn't know PS3 allowed screenshots to be taken. I knew that about PSV and every subsequent PS so far has a dedicated button for that but I didn't know that PS3 did that, too.

What happens when Ubi says, 'We have decided to terminate support for AC: Shadows we thank our players for their commitments.' Your devices access to the internet isn't the problem, it is that the game needs to reach those servers at all times to function and no matter what you paid that game is not guaranteed to work even though the disc and device could work comfortably for decades.

Because you didn't see two CEO's taking up the former position. You only claimed Hulst and everyone expected him to lead PS. No one expected multiple CEOs.

The article says he's been with the company since 2006 working mostly on PSN, but also elsewhere in SIE and Sony Corporation.

That's not how this works. In the article it says Herman Hulst will control the game dev side of the operation while Hideaki Nishino will control network services. So we will know who to blame and for what.

True but seeing how all their games come out totally broken due to rampant mismanagement. I don't see MS making much money on games as a publisher either.

True but this time the journalist is indeed Korean Kim Soo-min.

In the interview from Game About, which was carried out in Korean the interviewer asks about the Naytiba (네이티브로) which actually means "native" and asked about potential confusion with parallels to American Indians for us specifically in the U.S. Western media didn't catch that at all.
