In this day and age I don't even form an opinion until I see honest to god actual gameplay videos. So many games have had "screenshots" or video clips which are said to be the game but once the final product is release the game plays and looks nothing like them.
I have my favorite series so I will have a level of expectation but never again will I get on a hype train until I have watched a solid 10 to 20 minute video or actual gameplay in the released build. Too...

@morganfell. I remember when you had bubbles. I did, too, albeit under a different name. Any of us who were supporting Sony were ridiculed and mocked and bubbled down. Every article submitted had the words "doomed" and "Sony" in them.
I would make a generic statement like, "I liked Resistance Fall of Man" and would receive actual death threats in my pm. Lol. Oh, how times have changed.

O.T. for me it was a system glitch. I plated uncharted. I then took in my uncharted system bundle to best buy and said it wasn't working and traded it out for the infamous/killzone bundle. Since there had been a price drop I even got 75 bucks in store credit.

I have infinity through Comcast. Have high-speed internet, 2 HD boxes, premium channel package and HBO n showtime. Total bill after fees is 87.65 a month. That's not that bad.

@jcn...I do buy sony exclusives. Infamous, uncharted and little big planet. Bought each installment for each series. at the end of the day god of war is a hack n slash. I'm not gonna drop 60 bucks on a hack n slash no matter how pretty it is.

Exactly. Great art design but graphics were not mind blowing by any means. That doesn't make it a bad game at all, though. One of my most favorite games is Infamous and that didn't win any cutting edge graphic awards.
That is my hope with next gen. Killer graphics ie vast draw distances, no pop in textures, many items on screen with great shadowing and resolution.
