Seriously!
20% increase is pretty good.
Hold on to your judgement for the moment.
Move should be a slow burner. Expect Move software and hardware to not dip to much over the weeks but expect Reach to decrease rapidly and 360 sales to return to normal quite quickly.
Never try to reason with a troll. I've tried a number of times. They don't relate to facts like they built an entirely new engine and Kaz stated himself that GT6 will be made in a much smaller time frame than GT5. I'd say 2 years. GT5 will keep me bus up until then.
And another thing, GT psp and GTprologue were released in those five years aswell. I don't understand why people want a sequel every year which is usually just a little bit shinier.
Blu ray and 3D say a big hi.
And thats just recent stuff.
Move almost certainly wouldn't be here if it wasn't for wii makin motion control a massive success but having sayin that, wii didnt invent motion control they just invented the success.
Also wii wouldn't of gone with motion control if the cube wasn't thrashed last gen. If the cube was successful it would of stuck to a more conventional gaming method.
So imo and sort of twisted way, nintendo and sony can thank each other for motion control
If people are going to complain about just a stupid small logo. Pull your selfs together.
You mean Plat' Trophy or is there a plat' version of the game
Im pretty sure that currency convertion is far from accurate to determin the value of a particular currency.
The best way to judge how valuable a R$ is, is to work out what the average salary is in brazil. Not to convert it into american$
He might be trolling but he speaks the truth sadly. The PS3 version is bad in comparison and PS3 does get the majority of the poorer ports. Some minor and some like Mafia more obvious.
One thing I will say thou is that its not the Hardware Spec holding it back but more likely the nature of the hardware being harder to develop for and being radically different to PC, unlike the 360.
As proof just look at PS3 exclusives. They are stunningly gorgous.
The reason is that there is too much competition for COD games now.
Bad Company and Medal of Honor will take away some sales.
But COD games will continue to outsell the competition in the near future.
Responded to wrong thing. Check out my reply a few replies down.
Well ISS and Pro Evolution Soccer used to be 1 game called ISS Pro Evolution.
Then during the PS2 Era they decided to split the name up and make two games.
International Superstar Soccer which was more arcadey and I guess used to collect up the FIFA crowd. This sold poorly and eventually died out. The other game, and still exsists today, was Pro Evolution Soccer which stuck to the path it was treading with ISS Pro Evolution with a more simulation slant towards footbal...
Look at it this way.
Just say that 1M PS3 consoles sit on shop selves at 1 time all over the world. Now the the First 1M PS3's that Sony ship are used to fill the shops all over the world. Now after that 1M mark all PS3's shipped should count as sold.
e.g. 2007 Sony ship 10M units, Sold 9M.
2008 Sony ship 10M units, Sold 10M.
I don't know why people have to keep taking a percentage off Shipped consoles on every single ship...
Kinect can't do 1:1 tracking. No Kinect game proves it.
Copying you gestures on screen is not 1:1 tracking.
Wii plus is more accurate than Kinect and that cant do 1:1 tracking either because it cant detect rotation.
I like how, because Kinect can't compete with the Move technically or on the software side, people try to compare prices saying that move costs more to get the full 2 player experiance.
Honestly anybody on N4G should be a lover of games and not supporting the trash that Kinect brings to the market.
Sony have got the Move spot on for us gamers. If you want to support Kinect with its stupid red ball game and its multiple dance and exercise games then you a...
Now that Vgchartz as made a comeback on N4G, since the 360 as been winning may I add, I would like to point out that Vgchartz are way out for last month.
About 250,000 in the americas for PS3 and 520,000 in the america for 360.
Nothing can kill Halo because it has a huge fanbase. It's stupid to even consider it at this moment in time.
Maybe you should compare from video gane stores from other countries.
Also Move as 3 different priced bundles compared to the Kinects 1. Maybe having 3 different bundles will dilute the figure to the true number of actual move pre orders.
Or just maybe comparing the kinect to move from an american store where the install base is 9M more not a true repeesentation of the World.
Or Both!
Sony's PS3 has pushed Blu-Ray. One of the reasons why their console section is in the red. The high development cost to make the console to include the Blu-Ray drive, and lose money on each console sold, was the winning solution to the HD-DVD/Blu-Ray wars.
Just saying thats the main reason why the PS3 is in the red to profit other sections of Sony.
What about COD, FIFA (and most sport games), Crackdown, Need for Speed, F1, Skate, Tony Hawks etc. Granted that these games probably are making improvments but they are baby step improvements every year and people lap up most of them with any issue. But when a developer takes time to give you one awesome mega value package, people (mostly fanboys of apposing sides) use that against them when all developers should have the same attitude instead of the quick buck yearly updates.
