We've had 60fps games on consoles for decades.
Why not 1080p, even more detailed models and textures, and 30-40fps?
Resolution isn't so much about game development as it is about how the game will be displayed, and on what hardware.
To be fair, it is zoomed in a heck of a lot. That being said, a higher resolution is a higher resolution.
It's never a "1-3k PC", because you can always just upgrade one or two components in a PC for a couple of hundred, and it will run better than any console.

It looks good but not the graphical leap that the reveal trailer implied. They obviously faked that first trailer by putting a little HUD icon in the corner of a pre-rendered cinematic.
It's weird, but so far for next-gen; Ryse still has the best looking actual gameplay footage, graphically at least.
It's still early days though. There's some other beautiful looking games on the Ps4 that we need to see gameplay footage of.
