"You need *pulls random number out of ass* to play this at the highest settings with the highest ray tracing in 4K at 60fps, something the PS5 can't do. I hate that people other than me with my terrible budgeting skills have the option to have the best of something I thought was exclusive to my proprietary soulless conglomerate machine; my entire reasoning for buying into brand loyalty shattered in an instant. Corporation! My best friend! Thou have betrayed me!"

Plus he'd at least have more than five games after two years of ownership.

You really need to stop huffing paint.

Master at being anti-consumer.

Both consoles are pretty barren in terms of software that justifies their existence after two years.

I have a rule of never spending over $500 for a monitor. The best cost to performance models usually sit around that mark. Got a curved 32' 1440p 165hz one in 2019 for around $400.

@Orchard
I think the "8K" on packaging is more in relation to video playback support, not so much games. The Touryst is an exception to the norm because well look at it, it's not a demanding title. It's minimum most requirement is a 650ti.

DLSS is better in some use cases than native, FSR 2.0 however still leaves a lot to be desired compared to native.

"buy an average PC" you're using very dumb standards as an example. If you're going to buy a pre-built you should understand what the specs of that pre-built are. A 3060ti, 9900k, 32GB RAM pre-built will run laps around that PS5 for those eight years. Hardware standardization also means undesirable workarounds as the already outdated hardware in consoles becomes more outdated, sacrificing resolution, framerate, etc. Already seeing it creeping in and we're only two years ...

You don't "need" to regularly update the hardware on a PC, it's a choice, one you make when you feel like it.

@tinchotin You're not talking about anything but putting someone down over listing a product in full name, due to some sort of mental impairment that makes you socially inept. Nice try though.

Not every card is the same in terms of specs, a full name provides an idea of the hardware at their disposal. You should take your own advice.

The heavy frame dips from gameplay made that readily apparent.

@anast
Imagine being a console fanboy and unwittingly accusing others of overpaying. Don't forget to pay tribute to access your own internet you're already paying for to utilize a still lesser than piece of software you put $70 down on. Lmao.

"6 souped up pc's connected together just to ''enhanced'' their buggy game"
What year are you living in?

Agreed. Division 1 had a rocky start but toward the end they recovered and it became a genuinely fun and rewarding game. Boggles my mind that they threw that template out for something far worse in just about every way. Division 2 has been and still is an unrewarding chore with not nearly as much appeal in content as the first. I regret buying it and will be hesitant about a third if it's anything like 2.

Can't say I expect much after Dying Light 2, which was quite underwhelming compared to the first.

Can't ever forget those terribly designed lycan fights.

Like waiting almost ten years and three console cycles to get 60fps in GTA V. Welcome to 2015.
