Sony has lost plenty of formats they tried to master. More polished interface my arse.
Why say such lame things? More like lets pay $50 mil. to give our customers something they will like, and try to increase sales at the same time. To the point, ea sucks balls and will stop at nothing to smash all competition. No more will I even buy the games they make used, let alone new.
I would agree with the score given. I have never played the ps2 version but this version is pretty sweet. I am not to much on the puzzles parts but the action and drama are fun.
I personally don't need bluray on my game console yet. When I am ready for such a thing and if I c fit I will go and buy a bluray player.
At this point when I turn on my game console I almost always play games, chat, and listen to music, (at the same time). I am sure when I upgrade my 1080i tv in a couple years that's when I will search for a movie player with 1080p support. Not many people do have 1080p capable tv's yet.
How the movie system on live is gimmped? Every time I download and view a movie I am happy with the selection and with how easy it all is. I also enjoy being able to see the trailer/preview first. So please what problems have you had with the service to make you say it's gimmped?
Frontlines fuel of war. That game is great and the multiplayer games are so much better now than they were. I am having a blast with it.
Have you seen the quality? Looks good enough to be called hd to me. Who cares if or how it's compressed, the majority of consumers will feel the same as I do. There is a huge difference between standard movies and dvd's VS any 720p or 1080i signal. But the difference between the later and 1080p is not so huge that the average Joe will notice. You "sony is god" lovers sure are proud of that bluray player huh? You all keep paying that unjustified extra $$$ for only a marginal differen...
I have not bought a new EA game since they bought the NFL licence. I have however bought a few used titles from them. I had real high hopes for this game also, but now I will not buy it even used. And I along with others will tell all my friends that planned on buying the game why they should not! HEY EA!!! just know that you have tried to screw me for the last time. I will no longer help with your world domination. And it would not be so bad if the games they made lately were of good quality...

It's all about choice man. I did not here many people say this will replace hard copies. Most people including myself think of it as a nice choice to have. Being able to look at movie previews in a heartbeat, and then be able to (rent) the movie you want instantly. Sure net flix is nice and so is the video store down the street, but sometimes so is downloads. Like when the mail is late, or when the storm is to big to go out. Played my first 50 player match last night, lag free from a KAOS server in TX. Rainbow 6 looks fun online also. Will be trying it if I can ever get off Frontlines.
What is going on with that superior console of yours? You are supposed to be light years ahead of 360 games. Not just a little bloom effect better, and slower frame rate again. Did any one else notice that they used hdmi on the ps3 version and component on the 360 version. And all the better ps3 got was some lousy bloom effects at the sacrifice of lower texture res and lower frame rate. So what does the ps3 have over the 360 that you all go sploogy for? Bluray and drake...which I can not comm...
Who is this person doing the compare? What kind of setup is he/she working with? all the screens for both games look like crap.
