I knew nothing about this game. Literally nothing. I played Demon Souls, Dark Souls 1, and BloodBorne. Never played any on release, just after the hype.
This one’s hype built so fast before release, when I got it I had no idea what I was getting into. Now I don’t even watch reviews, videos, or anything on games I know I want. RE4, Hogwarts, Final Fantasy, and others going in blind.
I would love streaming on Switch. Imagine, me only needing a PlayStation and Nintendo console
Dead Island released when I graduated high school. The groundbreaking trailer released when I was a junior. The development of this game is hilarious
rx 5700 XT - This is the most comparable graphics card to what the PS5 has. It’s $250 used. PS5 are a great deal, but consoles have always been a better deal than computers (consoles sell at a loss to start their life, no pc item sells at a loss)

Well, there’s positives and negatives. This is the negative. Positive is the community fixes half of these and any game can be VR because of the community

Your posts proves it isn’t as great as people are saying. Fun… but not a Half Life Alyx and obviously not the same leap Mario took.
Mario went from a fun side scroller to a full blown 3D game that’s still better than most platformers today. Alyx will most likely be the best VR game for years to come.
Odd, I would classify my “didnt horizon just come out” as excitement for a new game being added to PS+. Most people seem to see it as a year being a long time. IMO, this game just came out a year ago. Pretty fresh game to hit PS+

Does anyone think that the delay in a new Nintendo console will help the sales? Every Nintendo topic has majority of the commits basically ribbing or downright telling Nintendo to release a new console. Sounds like there will be a ton of demand more-so than having traditional upgrades on a 5-year basis.
For me, the hype came with the game not being announced and dropped (along with being AAA). I’d be excited for any game like that.
Back in the day when HL3 was a possibility, everyone was wondering if Steam/Valve would just drop HL3 without any advertising or announcement. Imo, that is the best way to drop a triple-A exclusive because word of mouth sells and no expectations are present.

From a PC standpoint, VR is ready because any game can become a VR game with the community. Consoles is where they are lacking largely.
