Couldn't agree more. I'm playing though it now and focusing solely on main missions which for the most part are really good.
It is a poor mans GTA in terms of overall quality though. Watch Dogs 2 should be a really interesting improvement.
Yeah I kind of agree with you. There's some good games there that I would like (Forza Horizon 2, Shadow of Mordor) but nothing that is day one purchase material.
At least the written content is ok.
I wish we could ban the gamingsofar website for its ad ridden, poorly desgined CSS mess of a site that has articles that require up to 30 clicks to go through.
lol at someone disagreeing they are my thoughts, exactly.
Dr. Robotnik, his contraptions were usually hot garbage. Especially Green Hill zone in Sonic 2.
He didn't learn his lessons very well.
Have to say I enjoyed Far Cry Blood Dragon more than Far Cry 3. The narrower scope was much more enjoyable.
My thoughts exactly.
Article says: "Of all the game developers in the world, DICE should be the last ones to ever question another developer on day one multiplayer or on launch stability. "
I think DICE would be quite qualified to answer that question given issues they have encountered in the past. They would know full well how difficult it can be.
Looks great but the dialogue was not so great.
Ahh this garbage website again...
Manuals are great. I wouldn't even care if it was printed on recycled toilet paper. I would still want them.
I wouldn't say GTAV's soundtrack sucked. It was just lacking that California flavour.
Hip hop and R&B was well represented. But it needed some ska/punk, bay area 80's thrash, funk, funk rock, psychedelic rock and folk music.
But yeah GTAIV's soundtrack was pretty damn good.
Nice list. Good to see Alan Wake get some lovin'. My list of the top of my head would have Brutal Legend, Shadow Complex and Nier.
Brotherhood
AC 2
Black Flag
I only put Brotherhood ahead of 2 because it was the first I played so it had the most wow factor. Then I played the first followed the second. By halfway through 2 I was "creeded out."
For me I find it never encourages a healthy discussion. It brings out the worst in people or the worse kind of person/troll, take your pick.
Not to mention these types of flame bait articles are a dime a dozen.
This article is pathetic and it only brings in pathetic discussion.
Who cares which is better.
Geez i guess four disliking people don't like humour
Can't really argue with this list (although I've never heard of that last one from Romero).
Would add FFVII to this as it did have a lasting impact whether you agree its a good game or not.
I like JRPG's but there are little nuances creeping in since the PS2 era that kinda ruin them for me. Cheesy J-Pop music, excessive melodrama, poor dialogue (well that was always there on occasion) and really annoying stereotypical characters.
Whats your principle relating to? Region lock, same hardware generation upgrades, don't like nintendo?
