New enemies, new weapons, new local with a bustling city life, and even a tactics menu for your companions ^^
Hardcore mode should be rather fun on the second playthrough. No sleep, food, and water for days on end really shouldn't be possible ;)
Aww they got rid of a big strategy in the battle system :(
The first games if you had 2 enemies and you just selected all your guys to fight only one enemy then they would only attack that one enemy and if he died the rest of the players would skip a turn.
You know make you actually think about your battles! Now the characters will just attack the next enemy if the first dies...

The only problem with this title will be knowing the next trilogy that comes out will have the 'London Life' section in the gameplay.

Even has summons :) Turn base combat is always a good thing. The devastation from those monsters in the beginning of the game sounds Chernobyl like 0.o

The art style is a fun pick for this game and the equipment with abilities is usually a fun deal. With a lot of these games focusing in on having a ton of equipment for your characters to run around in you might as well make it useful too. I find getting an attack for what you wear rather than a +2 on agi is a better deal ;)
Once you get the ability to change vocations a new person will be in the Stornway Inn that will give you access to the DQVC. When you log into the store the map/quest will download automatically.
Yeah I picked up my map already :) Had the store since Monday and been buying up the items right when they go on sale! New quests on Fridays for the weekend play. Good thinking
DQ is always found on the most selling console. Thus why the move to the DS. Unlike the Final Fantasy series SE doesn't seem to want to flood the gates with DQ titles which is nice. 5 and 6 never made it outside of Japan, though finally seeing that US and EU like DQ titles and that the DS kicks butt they remade IV and VI on the DS as well as VI which should be coming out sometime I hope.
DQVII might make the PSN in Japan but I don't see it coming elsewhere really. ...

I don't care for soccer really (or football to those who care) but I'd like Level 5 to bring those Inazuma Eleven games to the states. The idea of an RPG soccer game sounds fun :)
I certainly wish Portable Ops had the control scheme from Peace Walker. PO is actually a good game just with lousy controls. That said I do wish people would get past the 'oh noes portable gaming' ><
Glad the author is enjoying the game though. Peace Walker ranks in the top tier of the series of games no doubt :)
A very impressive game to say the least. I didn't find the boss fights to be crazy hard though but I used the tranq gun more than anything. The hardest one so far was the first chopper battle. First mission I had to kill in to pass :(
They do keep it interesting. Not always drastic changes but enough to keep the franchises going. Like the author says the new Kriby does look like it could have been a whole new character but making it Kirby works all the better. Metriods gameplay change looks like it'll bring out some fun battles as well.

That's pretty cool. The DS game is gonna be great to play as and you get a magic book with it for all the spells. I suspect Move usage for the PS3 version :)
